"You excited?"

"Of course! Why wouldn't I be? We've been looking forward to this place for I don't even remember how long."

"A long time that's for sure."

"Yep. Now sleep so I'm not the only one awake until dawn."

"Ugh, fine."

"Night."

"Night."

I could hear her drift off into the depths of dreams within the next few minutes in the seat next to me. I wanted her to have the best time of her life. She was my best friend and we had planned to travel the world together and this month we had flew from the vast Australia to the rainy Ireland. I had been looking forward to visiting here a lot more than she had. But she decided it would be fun to go anyway.

I tried to get some sleep, but I couldn't keep my eyes closed for more than three minutes because the amount of excitement that was already in my system. I tried to look out of the window to relax myself which didn't help considering I had the middle seat and there was a random guy directly next to the window doing exactly what I was trying to do.

Unexpectedly, he turned around slowly and met my eyes. I automatically looked away but when I looked back he was still staring. This time with a smirk. I couldn't help but return the soft smile and introduce myself.

"(Y/N). Enjoying your flight?"

"Mark and indeed I am. I'm just here to visit my friend for a while. What brings you to the great land of rain?"

"Haha, I'm here with my friend as you can probably tell and we're staying here for a while too."

"Oh cool. I hope you have a fun trip. Is it your first time here?"

"In fact it is. Yours?"

"Yea, but I've been looking through these pamphlets and there seems to be so many things to do here!"

As he reached to grab a pamphlet, I could see the way the sunrise hit his bright candy red hair and how it flowed so perfectly.

As we continued to chat and look through the packet, I got glimpses of him and he got glimpses of me. We also figured out more about one another. His name was Mark Fischbach and he was staying with a friend born Sean, but nicknamed Jack for some reason. I had to also question him about the red hair and he responded with a charity driven story and that's Sean was involved in it too and had to dye his hair a glowing lime green. It seemed ridiculous at first, but he worked it well. Almost as well as he worked the massive biceps he had. It was like his shirt was hugging his body so tight it might have ripped apart at any given moment. Other than that, Mark seemed to be a regular guy. A happy, mildly energetic little goofball of a man. He seemed nice and I hoped that I could see him again sometime during our stay.

"We should probably catch a few Z's so neither of us pass out getting off of the plane."

"True. No one wants to flop on their way out of an airport in the middle of the day. Unless you're an octopus and that's just how you roll...or flop."

"Oh my goodness, Mark. Get some rest please before anymore puns materialize their way into this conversation."

"Ha okay then. Sleep well, (Y/N)."

"You as well Mark."
