Chapter One: Just Friends

There's someone in my life who I care about deeply.
We tell each other everything, even our deepest of secrets.
My name is Min Yoongi, I live in Daegu, Korea, and my best friend is Park Jimin, and he lives in Busan, Korea.

"Your best friend?" You might ask. Yes we both met on the Internet, but that doesn't change that he's the closest person I've ever had to a best friend.

Him and I have such similar dreams, and similar goals, we both want to be involved with music.. But sometimes things get out of hand.

"What do you mean you don't wanna come tryout with me?!" Jimin yelled at me through the laptop screen.
There's auditions for SM Entertainment this week, we were both planning on going to Seoul together to try and get in.
"I'm just not sure if I'm ready yet, I haven't practiced the rap I wanted to do.."

He gave me a disappointing yet angry look, his expression making me feel worse than I already felt.
"Well then if you're not going, I'm not going!" He crossed his arms and started to pout.

"Jiminie I don't wanna be the one who holds you back from your dreams" he gives a sigh "Well I'm gonna keep my dreams on hold till you're there with me" he hung up the call, the computer screen going back to the home-screen.
I fall back into my chair, letting out a breath as I look up at the ceiling.

I'm such a dumbass.

Yeah I know I hung up, yeah I know that I should've just went to the audition without him, but I can't.

One reason, I want us to be in the same company and/or group.
And the Second reason, I want to meet him. If I was a Trainee, I would be really busy and even after the debut it would be busy too, so we might never meet if he stays where he lives or if he actually manages to get into a group we would meet eventually.. But not like we both planned.

Therefore I am not going to an audition without him!

Well I have homework to do, AND I have to practice songs I'm planning on doing for future auditions..
"Whatcha doin' there Jimin?"
One of my friends Jungkook says opening my closet door.
Yes, he was in the closet.
How? I don't know.

"How the hell do you keep getting in there? Do you come from Narnia or something?" I turn my chair around to face him, giving him a weird look.
"Magic~" he says giving a smile and a happy tone as he climbs out of the closet.

"Are you gay Jungkook?" I ask him jokingly.
"... Why would you ask me that?" He gave me a confused look like I was an Emu with ten heads.
"You came out the closet." I say giving a huge smile and giggling slightly.

"So what if I am? You are!" I rolled my eyes "It was a joke Jungcock~"
Jungcock is a nickname that my other friend TaeHyung and I gave him, Tae came up with it.. don't ask me what made him think of that.

"Stop calling me that!" There was a slightly frustrated tone in his voice "Fine, fine, fine. It was just a joke."
"But seriously what are you doing? Who was that you were on Video Chat with?" He gave a huge smile "It's just my friend Yoongi"
