They sat in his backyard, drinking away their problems one by one.
The problem was that he had too many problems, so he ended up really intoxicated to the point that he began spitting out his true emotions.

"The ONE that always cheered you up and saved you from rapists!!"
He laughed. He laughed because even in his drunk state, he found it as an obligation to show her his cheery and warm side.
She stayed quiet, speechless. She couldn't comprehend what what was rambling on about.
She felt guilt grow in her as he smiled brightly at her. She knew he wasn't okay.
