~a month later~
Me & Cayenne are in the kitchen cooking
The boys are setting up the table
I sigh & put food on the plate
"Something wrong?" Cayenne says
"Nah..I just remember stuff.." I mumble the last words...
Cayenne's POV:
My phone rings at that same moment
I answer it even though it's a odd number
I sigh
"Hello?"
"Omg is this Cayenne?" A crying woman says
"Yes?" I say raising a eyebrow
"Derek..has been shot"
I almost drop the phone...
Tears form in my eyes
"How bad?" I say
"They try to wake him but he only stays up for a little bit" she cries
"Delaney?" I say
"Yes..."
I knew it was his sister
"Okay I'm coming"
I drag Yazz,Nate & Jake with me out of the door
We're all with comfy clothes on
It's a hospital no one to impress
~at the hospital~
I run to Delaney & we hug each other crying
"Derek's in room 16" she says
I walk but she holds my arm
"Don't go in..the doctors are in there.." She adds
"Oh.."
"What happened?" Yazz says worried
"Derek got in a fight with my ex because he's been stalking me for almost a year now..I'm getting a restraining order against him & he fought me about it..he hurt me...really bad in the house..Derek fought him & he held a gun at Derek & shot him.."
She says before breaking into tears
"Where's the mark?" I say
She sighs & uncovers her head
Which she was wearing a hood
She shows me a slight bruise on her cheek
"He punched me.." She says
"Delaney did you call the cops?"
"I did. They arrested him"
"Good."
"Delaney Luh?" A nurse says
"Yes" she says
"Derek Luh is fine..he'll be fully recovered in a few days..but until then we'll need him here.."
"Oh thank god" she says breaking into happy tears
I hug her with happy tears rolling down my face
"He's fine" I say
"Omg.."
~afterwards~
We get back home & I run to the shower
I wash up & I walk outside in a towel with my hair wet
Jake who happened to be in the room stares at me
"Like what you see?" I say bending down to get clothes
He sighs
"Yes very much"
"You can touch you know?" I say after i got dressed
"Yes. But I'll touch you when I feel like to"
"You don't wanna-"
"Not yet" he says nervously
"Jake...are you a virgin?" I blurt our laughing
He stays quiet
He is one!
"Yes" he says low enough for me to hear
"Baby..it's fine" I say wrapping my arms around him
"No! I'm 21 years old!"
"Babe. I don't care..okay?" I say straddling him
"I love you no matter what?"
"I love you too" he says
We kiss & I run my fingers through his hair
Yazz bursts in
"Damn get some"
"Why are you here?" I groan
"I need shampoo"
"You have"
"I need yours"
"Damn get it & leave"
"Someone's upset" she mumbles
"What was that?"
"Nothing" she yells
"I hear you hoe" I say
"I'm glad you do ugly" she says
She leaves & Jake smiles
"Wanna watch a movie?"
"Yes."
I go to the kitchen to get food for us
As I'm walking I see Nate & Yazz kissing on the wall
"Get a room" I yell
Nate smirks
"We will" he says lifting her up
Throwing her on his shoulder & running away while she squeals
I get popcorn & soda
I go back upstairs & he has a fort ready for us
He made it with two chairs & our blanket
Pillows & blankets inside it
I climb in it with him
He throws popcorn into my mouth
I giggle
He goes downstairs & comes back with whipped cream
He sprays some in his mouth
"I want some" I whine
He sprays some in mines
I giggle as he has some on the corner of his mouth
I kiss him & the movie starts
I cuddle myself in his arms & he kisses my cheek
"Mine" he whispers
"Yours" I whisper back....
