A Bad Thing
Attachment is a bad thing.
It gives others the power to break you
And make you cry.
And that would be a bad thing.
It would show God that we aren't strong enough
To be put through challenges.
And what is the purpose of life without a challenge.
This is why we must look forward and not back.
Even if it doesn't feel like it;
Tomorrow is a new day,
With a new challenge,
Which we must face with our heads held high.
