The Nation's Dream Husband

Start from the beginning

"Aisht, I can never win against you two." Jae Hyun whined.

"Uhm, excuse me, hyung, noona, but I think my sons here are dying to play with their noona." Jiyong said as he pushed the three boys foreward, but then the triplets suddenly stepped back and hid their faces.

"Are they always this shy?" Hye Sun was surprised.

"Yah, stop acting like that! Come. Introduce yourselves first. Hurry!" Jiyong pushed them foreward once more.

"Kwon Yong il imnida..." Yong il dipped his head and whispered. He then asked Jiyong to carry him and he buried his face in his dad's shoulder.

"Annyeonghateyo... Kwon Yongdu imnida," Yongdu introduced himself with a deep bow before looking up at the girl now in Jae Hyun's arms. He bit his lip and hid behind his dad, his cheeks blushing making Jae Hyun and Hye Sun hold in their laughter. It was already Yongse's turn when Jiyong suddenly noticed the boy was not beside him anymore and when he looked around, the boy was running allover the living room, a silly grin all over his face.

"Yongse yah, it's your turn!"

Yongse immediately ran in front of Hye Sun and Jae Hyun. He looked up at Hye Jin and bowed deeply before speaking. "Pretty noona, annyeong! I'm Yongte. Pleate come down to we can play!" He said, jumping up and down excitedly.

"Yah! Kwon Yongse! Aisht!" Jiyong scowled at the boy who did not introduce himself formally. Hye Sun could not stop herself from cracking up anymore.

"Aigoo. They're so cute! How could they be all so different and all so adorable at the same time!"

"I think I need to keep an eye on Yongse the most," Jae Hyun said protectively. "Seems like he's the one who got your confidence when it comes to girls, Jiyong."

"Yah hyung! What are you talking about!" Jiyong flustered as he looked at all the cameras surrounding them. "Ah chincha..."

Jae Hyun just laughed at him and turned to her daughter. "Hye Jin-ah, you should greet our visitors first. They have been waiting for you."

Jae Hyun then settled her down on the floor and the shy girl who got her parents' good genes all over her face smiled and bowed before Jiyong and his sons.

"Annyeonghaseyo. I'm Ahn Hye Jin. It 's nice to meet you."

"Annyeonghaseyo! I'm Uncle Jiyong. I hope you remember me." Jiyong bowed too and then urged his sons to do the same.

"I know you," Hye Jin giggled.

"Really?"

"How could she not when you and Dara always shower her with gifts." Hye Sun answered.

"It's because my wife is her godmother. Children should be showered with affection and a the things that will make their childhood complete."

"Something that would obviously come out from aspoiler's mouth." Hye Sun chuckled.

After introducing the kids to each other, they had lunch together and the triplets adored Hye Sun's cooking. They finished two bowls each of noodles and was served with strawberries for dessert. Yong il ate silently and did not mind anyone except his dad while Yongdu kept giving his share to Hye Jin who was beside him. Yongse was theluckiest though for Hye Jin always feeds him.

"We are all witnessing a love triangle unfold, yeorubun." Jiyong chuckled. "I pity Yongdu. His love is one-sided."

"Hye Jin, yah. Ahn Hye Jin! Stay away from Yongse! Yah!" Jae Hyun faked an angry voice earning him a slap on his arm from Hye Sun.

"Shut up. You're too loud! Jae Hwa might wake up!"

"Aisht, don't tell me you like someone like Jiyong to be your son-in-law?"

"Why? What's wrong with Jiyong? He is currently the nation's dream hubby."

"Tsch. That used to be me." Jae Hyun scoffed.

"Aigoo... Is my husband jealous?"

"Not realy... I'm just being protective of my princess."

"That's not how it sounded."

"Ahhh! Hyung! Noona! Hye Jin is really so pretty!" Jiyong exclaimed, cutting off the couple from their conversation. They looked at Jiyong once more and realized he could not take his eyes off their daughter.

"Having a daughter is nice too, you know." Jae Hyun said proudly.

"This is bad. I think after Dara's movie, I have to woo her again for a daughter."

" I think you should. The question is, will you succeed?" Hye Sun challenged. "As far as I know, Dara is already content with the boys."

"Aisht. If she is, then I'm not! These three imps are like the different sides of me! It's like I'm seeing myself scattered in every corner of the house!"

"Well, that might be the reason why Dara noona loves them more than you. Three is always better than one Jiyong." Jae Hyun teased.

"Yah. Can't I have a mini- Dara too? And by the way, I know she loves our sons more than me now, so stop rubbing it on my face." Jiyong frowned.

"But they're really adorable. So innocent and cute. I always watch them on TV." Hye Sun said."In eight weeks time, our episodes will be shown too."

"Really? Then are you going back to work too, noona?" Jiyong asked Hye Sun.

" I've finished a few pieces and was thinking of putting up another exhibit then I'll check out sajangnim's offers..."

"Tsch." Jiyong snorted. "Just be careful of that old hag's offers. He was the one who got me into this."

"Jiyong..." Jae Hyun eyed Hye Sun worriedly before turning to Jiyong. "Your mic..."

"Who cares? Let them know." Jiyong sulked.

"Yah... Why don't you just look at the bright side?" Hye Sun consoled him. "Aren't you enjoying this?"

Jiyong sighed and thought for a moment. Since he joined the show, he has been spending more time with his kids and less in his recording studio. He missed making music but every single day with the kids made him hum more, sing more for them. He lived with them. Looked after them. But right now, he was growing up with them.

Is he happy? He's beyond delighted. What he felt was beyond words. It made him smile.

"Well, I'm not saying that Hyun Suk hyung's decision is always good for his artists. Let's just say, he just made one the best decisions he has ever made for making me join this program."

"There, there. Soon, the dream hubby will also be a dream dad." Hye Sun patted his back before standing upwith Jae Hyun. The husband and wife then walked towards the four kids and lifted them from their seat, promising them about watching cartoons just to pullthem away from the dining table.

He got up too, and was about to help wash the dishes when his phone beeped with a message.

It was from Dara. His brows furrowed in wonder and when he looked up at Hye Sun, she waved her phone at him while mouthing the word "sorry".

And it all made him flash a silly grin.

Dear Mr. Nation's Dream Husband... I have heard you've worked hard today and I know you'll be doing the same tomorrow.

But please... Don't talk about baby making plans with other people, anymore, okay? Let's talk about that mini- Dara you want when I get home.
