I barely slept last night. I couldn't stop crying and thinking about how betrayed I felt. A year. He lied to me for a year. I felt so...so stupid. For a year we talked about our future, and made plans, all the while he knew it wasn't a future he wanted with me. I got up and walked to my bathroom. My eyes were almost swollen shut and I was completely pale. I probably shouldn't go to work today. Dammit I was taking a half day Wednesday to help Jay so I really couldn't afford it. I had moved a couple showings to today too. Alright, I just had to suck it up. I heard Brit walking around in her room. I knew she must be tired too. I knocked on her door lightly then opened it.

"Hey Brit, I need your help with..." Oh. My. God. There in front of me was a very naked Rob.

"Good morning Layla. See anything you like?" I looked from, well from his package that I had to admit was rather large, up to his face. His face dropped when he saw mine. "Shit Layla what's wrong? Have you been crying?" He ran over to me and wrapped me in a big hug.

"Uh Rob."

"Oh Jesus sorry." He walked over and put some shorts on and then sat on the bed. Normally I would have been completely embarrassed but strangely I wasn't. "Seriously though, are you OK? What happened?" Just then Brit walked out of the bathroom freshly showered in her bath robe.

"Oh my God Layla what's wrong?!" She rushed over and pulled me in a hug. I couldn't help but break down and sob into her shoulder.

I slowly, between sobs, told them about Kyle and our break up. I still couldn't believe it, even as I was saying it.

"Layla, I'm so...sorry. I can't believe it. I just...I'm so sorry."

"Thanks Brit. I'm just in shock I guess. I just never thought."

"I know, I know." We were hugging when Rob came over and pulled both of us into a big bear hug, lifting us up.

"You want me to beat the shit out of him Layla, because I will. It probably would be easy too."

"No thanks Rob. I believe you but no, violence doesn't solve anything."

"Of course it does." Rob turned to kiss Brit. I couldn't help but feel a mixed emotion of happiness for them and sadness for me. "I gotta go to practice. Can I see you later?" Brit shook her head yes and gave him another kiss. They really were cute.

"Bye Layla." He came and kissed me on the top of my head. "Listen, you don't need him. You are awesome and you will find someone better. Hell maybe you already did." He winked and then walked out the door. I know he was talking about Jay and I couldn't help but smile a little at that.

"So you and Rob huh?" I walked over and poked her boob. She batted it away.

"Yea, yea. Shut it." She sighed. "I really like him. Like a lot. I know it's only been a few days but he's so great. Ugh who am I!?

"Oh Brit you're a girl. It's OK. You little football player you." I pinched her cheeks and laughed.

We talked about Rob while Brit helped me with my make up. She had this special serum for eye bags since she worked nights so much she needed it often. It sounded like they were really hitting it off and I was happy. I was also grateful for the distraction.

"Hey did Ashley ever come home?" Brit gave me a raised eyebrow.

"Oh yea she came back."

"What do you mean?"

"Let's just say I'm not the only one who had a Raven in her bed." Oh. My. God.

"What!? She did not!" Brit I expect, she's a maneater but Ashley. Little Ashley. She doesn't do those things! "How do you know?!"
