(Starting this lesson, I won't give the romanization of Hangeul words. Please practice reading them so you won't depend on the romanized version.)

Practice this dialogue 10 times:

두인: 지금 몇 시예요?
What time is it?

리한: 11시예요.
It's 11 o'clock.

두안: 몇 시에 점심을 먹어요?
What time do you have lunch?

리한: 12시 30분에 먹어요.
I had lunch at 12:30.

★Tips:
▶Hours in Korean is 시 (si but you will read it as shi).
▶Minutes in Korean is 분 (bun)

Hours (Use Native Korean)
01:00 한시
02:00 두시
03:00 세시
04:00 네시
07:00 일곱시
09:00 아홉시
Note: From 1-4, remove the last letter of the number like in saying your age.

Minutes (Use Sino)
00:01 일분
00:02 이분
00:03 삼분

When you combine:

Ex.
11:17 열한시 십칠분
01:15 한시 십오분
03:07 세시 칠분
09:51 아홉시 오십일분
05:43 다섯시 사십삼분

I'll give you a task: try to write what's been asked then PM it to me. Please don't cheat, it's for your own good.

A. Write the romanization and write the corresponding hours and minutes in numbers.

2. 여덟시 삼십팔분
3. 네시 사십칠분

Goodluck! I'll be hoping for your answer to be sent thru pm :)
