I don't do selfies - period. I think it's a generational thing. If I ever want to take a photo in front of some important monument as a momentum, I just ask a bystander to take a picture. Not sure if I put too much trust in people since they could easily run off with my camera or phone, but that's the old fashion way of doing things. There are plenty of times I took advantage of fellow tourists without the need of selfie sticks dangling over my head.
However, I did break down this week and had some professional pictures taken in preparation of the 'Trapped' launch this year since I figured that readers on Amazon might not take a liking in my black rose. So (drum role), the mystery is revealed, and you finally get a glimpse at the "real" me, LOL. I know some of you have been eagerly awaiting this moment.
