Astray

Astray.

I came to a crossroads,

Long, long ago.

The right bathed in light,

And lined with roses,

While the left in the dark of night.

My mind's instinct,

Was to follow the pure,

But something in my heart,

Told me the shadows were the cure.

I went left.

But now,

I'm far from just astray.

I'm no where near miles from home,

And no where near the old way.
