In the wind,
Let the poison heal me.
In the music,
Let my heart go under a lock and key.
Under the spell of a song,
Let the words take me away.
Under the guard of a promise,
Let it make me stay.
Don't let the truth,
Scare you.
Don't let the lies,
Make you hide.
Responding to the shock,
Let it knock me out.
Responding to the night,
Let it hold onto my light.
Cutting all the lies,
Let it make me try.
Cutting all the sound,
Let it make me hell bound.
Don't let the world,
Make everything seem pearled.
Don't let the hurt,
Make up all your words.
Let the voice in your head,
Be oblivious to the pain.
Let the heart you hold,
Ignore the stain.
If you can't leave the past,
Let it keep you running fast....
