I Come From...
I come from a dreamer,
A believer,
And a simple thought from a time.
I come from silence,
Piled up blankets,
And a stack of paper, a pen, and a vision in mind.
Music is my life,
Country,
Rock,
And Pop songs are always in the air.
I'll never say much,
But I'll always hear,
"Sweet Dreams."
"I love you."
And "That's Not Fair!"
I come from secrets,
Heart racing tragedies,
And tales I'll never tell.
I'm from the air,
Water,
Fire,
Earth,
And depths where I fell.
I'm from something different,
Not a place,
But where my heart was made more considerate.
I come from dried tears,
Hard years,
And close to nothing fears.
And that's where I'm from.
No matter what you say or believe,
That's where I'm from.
