Atami POV
After I 'disposed' of the dead bodies me & Shirahoshi started to chat. I noticed that she was getting hungry so I went into the kitchen & made a lot of sweets like cakes, cupcakes etc.
"These taste delicious~!"
"Oh its nothing."
"No really, it's better then the candy here." I chuckle when I see icing on her nose, I have a swig of booze but then I notice something in the air
"Am I seeing things or..."
"Atami-san!!" Devina was in her Phoenix form but as she came nearer to me she... crash landed on me
"Why?" I throw her off me but then catch Opal as she flew into my arms
"So your plan was to lure them here & kill them."
"Indeed it was, & I won."
"Of course."
"Is that Atami's cooking I smell?"
"Yes it is!" everyone started eating my food & the guards, sons & the King loved my cooking
"This is amazing-jamon."
"I love her cooking!" I twirl my hair with my finger as I lightly blush
"Flattery won't get you anywhere." everyone laughed as the saw me going red "Shut up!"
"But Atami, seeing you blush is funny."
"& cute..." that made me blush even more red, & they laughed even harder
~ Next Day ~
"Y-Your leaving now!?" Shirahoshi started crying when she heard we were leaving
"We're sorry Shirahoshi, we have to go."
"C-Can I come!?"
"Shirahoshi!" while they were arguing if she could come or not, I had an idea
"Your to big, you wouldn't be able to fit on the ship!"
"But--"
"I have a way." they all look at me crazy while I grin & laugh a little
"How?!"
"Wait here." I made a portal & walked in, I came out but had someone in my arms. She had long red hair, glasses, was wearing shorts, knee high laced up boots which were black & red. A shirt showing the sides of her stomach, a long black coat with the sleeves folded up to her elbows & also had a top hat & black leather finger less gloves
"Meet Cassidy, she has the power to do anything!" (Guess who?! I felt like bringing Cassidy in so... yeah!)
"Hello! Why'd you bring me here again?"
"I want you to make Shirahoshi a human."
"A human?!"
"Easy peasy." before she could do anything they pushed her back
"There's no way I'm letting my only daughter go to the surface!"
"You can trust us King Neptune, we'll keep our eyes on her 24/7-yoi." she gave her father a pleading look, he sighed
"Oh alright, but I want her back!"
"I promise."
"Alright your Majesty, this might hurt a little." she jumped a little & shot something at her, she winched a little & started to shrink. Soon enough she was a human with legs but... she was naked "I always forget clothes."
"I'll let her wear my clothes."
~ Short ASS Time Skip ~
"Goodbye father! I promise to come back home."
"Goodbye little sis!"
"You better look after her Pirates!"
"We promise we will!" as we left I created the force field/bubble again & were going to resurface again but in the Grand Line
"You excited your majesty-yoi?"
"Very! & I might even see Luffy-sama!"
"You actually are."
"Really?!"
"We're actually sailing back to my home Island where my other three brothers are." she started to smile like a child in a candy store "Calm down, were not even halfway there." she pouted
"So Atami, where to now?"
"We need to go up that's for sure!" they roll their eyes
"We know, but which way?!" I pull out the Eternal Pose again it was pointing Northwest
"That way." they nodded
Third Person POV
They were almost to the surface & Shirahoshi was getting even more excited by the second. It was currently dark out now & everyone was asleep... well, everyone but Atami. She sat on the deck & was staring up at the water, she was remembering how that Pirate said "Gol D. Atami" & also the memories of Marineford. Those memories brought tears to her eyes
"Atami...?" she gasped & turned around, she saw Thatch & when he saw her tears he quickly ran towards her "Atami! What's the matter?! Why are you crying!?" she sniffed as Thatch brought her into a embrace
"S-Sometimes I-I wish that I actually d-died..." Thatch stayed quiet "Sometimes I question w-why I'm s-still alive... then I remember... its b-because I want to see t-the people I love a-again..." she let out a quiet sob "B-But those memories of m-me... being born a Gol D. & the pain of b-being inpaled by my o-own sword...! Haunts me too this day!"
"Shut up..."
"Wha..."
"Shut up!" she looked at him & saw he was both angry & sad "How many times do I have to say it?! We don't care who you are! We love you for who you choose to be! Atami... I'm glad that you are alive, cause if you weren't... I wouldn't be the happy man I am today...!" that made her even more sad because she broke down but Thatch was comforting her
"There there, its alright." he looked up & saw the stars, they resurfaced & they didn't even know. He heard light snoring & saw that Atami was asleep, he shook he's head & carried her to his bedroom "We're finally in the Grand Line Atami... just like you wanted..."
