Chapter 2

Monica's POV
"Damn it, Mark!" I yelled as he killed me.
"That's payback for not giving me extra time!" Mark yelled back before laughing.
"Monica! Ya gotta be quicker than that!" Jack yelled.
"Ah shut up!" I yelled.

The guys just laughed. We were playing prop hunt and it's Jack and I against Mark and Bob.

"Why do you guys yell so much... my God." Bob said calmly causing us to all burst out laughing again.

We were playing prop hunt and last round Mark was panicking and I found him and killed him right away. I did the same thing this round and he saw that and took his chance to get his payback.

"Okay now where's Jack?" Mark asked.
"He is nowhere ta be seen!" Jack stated, although I could hear the panic in his voice.

He's messing up

"I SEE HIM!" Bob shouted.
"Now who's being loud." I said.

Everyone laughed.

"AH! BOB NOOOOOO!" Jack yelled.

I watched as Jack was being chased by Bob. Jack was a little mug and he was dodge Bob's bullets fairly well. Then he got hit and died.

"SHITE!!!" He yelled causing us all to laugh.
"Jack! Dodge better!" I yelled.
"What do ya think I was tryin' ta do!?" Jack shouted while laughing.

*timeskip*

We finished recording prop hunt and Mark and Bob had to go. Mark wanted to record some Doom. Bob wanted to play some Uncharted 4.

"So! What do ya want ta play?" Jack asked.
"I'm not sure." I said.
"Well we could play some Rocket League." Jack suggested.
"You know I'm horrible at that." I said.
"I know. That's what makes it fun!" He said.
"You're so weird." I mumbled.
"And that's why ya love me." Jack stated and I smirked.

We logged on to Rocket League and started to do some one on one games just to get used to it. He beat me every time.

"Damn it, Jack..." I mumbled.
"Love ya!" He said.
"Yea yea sure." I teased causing him to chuckle.

Delani's POV
It was after school and I was heading to the back of the school to meet up with Maci. I got to the back of the school and waited for a bit.

So reason I have to meet with her is because she doesn't like that I'm best friends with Ryder. She has a crush on him and she can tell that I like him. Another thing that she hates is how much he talks to me and not her. She's the most popular girl in our class and Ryder is the most popular guy in class and so many people including Maci think that the most popular people have to go out.

"Delani!" Maci shouted.

Shit...

I turned to my left to see her with three other people.

SHIT

I felt my pulse beat faster. Maci had this terrible grin on her face that made me uncomfortable.

"Get over here!" She shouted.

I walked over trying to seem calm.

"I thought you said it was just gonna be us." I said.
"Oh it was, but I felt like bringing some people with me." She said.

They all took a step towards me before running at me. I turned and bolted away. I could hear them behind me so I kept going. I saw some of the baseball players walking towards the fields. I locked eyes with Ryder and I saw the anger and worry appear on his face. He dropped his stuff on the ground and motioned me over. Some of the other baseball players where watching what was going on. I ran behind Ryder who was now standing in front of me, protectively. Maci walked over with her friends and glared at Ryder.
