You sat in the car feeling the warmth of the heater running as you patiently waited for Elliot to return. He had just entered the hotel to check in and obtain the room keys as you sat in the car at his request. While he had only been gone for a few minutes, you couldn't help but feel a small pang in your chest as you extremely missed the presence of your new husband.

Your eyes scanned the parking lot as you examined the different cars that would be parked there for the night. With each car, you tried to pass the time by making up small reasons as to why the driver had been spending the night in a hotel. From running away from a murder to deciding to live in a hotel you found yourself distracted long enough for Elliot to return to the car without you noticing.

"You scared me." you smiled as he turned the key shutting down the car.

"I'm sorry I thought you'd see me coming." he softly chuckled backing out of the car again and shutting the door.

Elliot walked around the front of the car as he put the keys in his pants pocket securely. When he arrived at your door, he opened it allowing you to step foot on the pavement with the help of his rough hand on yours. The feeling of his hand holding yours instantly managed to make you feel better and eliminate the loneliness that had taken over during his short absence.

"I missed you." you told him as he shut the car door behind you. His hand gripped tighter on your at the sound of your words.

"I missed you too." he smiled back beginning to walk slowly toward then entrance of the hotel. "I hope the wedding was alright for you. I know it wasn't very glamorous."

You couldn't help but smile at his statement thinking how ridiculous his fear had been.

"It couldn't have been more perfect." you told him immediately easing his mind. "We could have gotten married in your apartment and I would have been just as happy."

"Speaking of apartment..." he began as the sliding doors opened before the both of you allowing you entrance to the hotel lobby. "Does this mean you'll be moving into my apartment? I mean if you don't want to..."

"If I don't want to?" you said rather louder than anticipated. "Of course I want to. I don't want my husband to be away from me for a second."

"Good. I didn't want to pressure you or anything. I don't want to be away from you either." he responded still wearing a smile letting you know how happy he truly was.

The door to the room that Angela and Darlene had reserved for the two of you came into view. Elliot reluctantly let go of your hand to fiddle in his pocket for the key card he had received at the front desk. Once the card entered the door slot, it opened with ease allowing you entrance to the room.

The room wasn't beautiful or something that you would have seen in a magazine. One bed had been set in the middle of the room resting against the wall with a nightstand on either side. Two table lamps had been set beside the by while a floor lamp sat in the corner of the room where a desk for a business man stood untouched. The bathroom had been small with only one sink but lots of counter space while the shower had been a normal size with just a see-through curtain to keep the flooring from becoming wet.

"This place sure is charming." you laughed moving in toward the bed and sitting down on side sinking slightly into the mattress.

"Are you okay here? If you feel uncomfortable we could go someplace else..." he replied seeming to be in a slight panic.

"It's perfect. Don't worry." you told him smiling at his constant need to make sure you were comfortable. "Come sit beside me."

Patting the spot next to you. Elliot shut the door and locked it to keep out any unwanted potential visitors. He walked to the bed and sat down beside you where you had previously been patting. You couldn't help but rest your head on his shoulder as he rested his head softly on yours allowing you both to stare at the wall.

"I just can't believe we're married." you told him linking your arm with his and bringing your body as close to his as possible.

"Me neither." he responded. "I can't believe how good my luck has been."

Before you had a chance to say another word, Elliot suddenly stood up turning around to face you.

"I know this is sudden but I just really need to show you how much I love you." he spoke seriously removing his jacket and tossing it to the floor.

He rushed forward, pressing his lips to your neck as you slowly moved back toward the bed until your body had been laying flat. Elliot climbed on top of you exploring every inch of skin he could possibly find proving just how much he truly did love you.

~~~End~~
