Chapter 12

"Can you go get her crib out of it's box? Jordan brought it over this morning." Aaron and I have been unpacking for about an hour, "Jill, what do you want to do tonight?" I follow him upstairs to Addy's room, "I don't know, I just want to focus on unpacking for as long as we can before Adelaide starts screaming in a couple hours." He turns around and puts his hands on my shoulders, "how about I unpack her room, and you go put on a nice dress and do your hair and whatever. I'm taking you to a nice restaurant and we are going to a movie, okay?" I give in and go to our room looking for my dresses and makeup.

"Okay, so if you have any problems or anything happens, call right away." Aaron wraps an arm around my waist, "Jill, they'll be fine. She's sleeping, nothing will happen." We walk out to the car and Aaron grabs my hand, "Aaron I hate going out, I want to stay home with the baby and Jordan and just hang out." He places a soft kiss on my knuckles, "I know, but we haven't been alone in almost 4 weeks, please? Give me this one." I throw my head back in defeat, "fine, only because I can't say no to your face. You're taking advantage of that." He moves his hand from mine and then places it on my thigh, "thank you baby. Now, you're going to love my movie choice for tonight, but you won't be finding that out til after dinner and some wine." I laugh and then look over at him, he looks extremely proud of what he chose for our movie, "am I really gonna need wine before this movie? Is it that bad?" "There's my old Jill, I missed her. Anyways, no, it's actually quite good, I even got a private screening." I roll my eyes and turn up the radio.

"Aaron will you please tell me what movie we are seeing? You know I hate being unprepared for movies." He chuckles and grabs my hand, "we are almost there, trust me you'll be fine." We stop in the middle of a parking lot with about 5 other cars, I look out across the lot and see a familiar looking guy getting out of his car, "is that Chace?" another person gets out of their car, "and Manny and Tyler?" He nods and unbuckles, placing a hand under my chin, "yep, tonight is the cast screening for Undrafted before it hits theaters next week." I place a soft kiss on his lips before jumping out of the car and running over to Chace, Manny and Tyler. "Oh my god! I missed you guys!" I run up to Chace throwing my arms around his midsection, "Aaron didn't tell us you all were coming. Where's the baby? I'd love to meet her." All the guys agree and turn to Aaron as I hug Manny and Tyler, "Jordan is bringing her by after the movie so you guys can meet her." I look at Aaron and he grabs my waist pulling me over to him, "why didn't you tell me A?" "I didn't tell anyone but Jordan, it's a surprise babe." He wraps his arms around my waist and rests his head on my shoulder, "aww how cute, I'm so glad you brought your wife to this. I can't wait to have you guys be all over each other during the movie." Aaron kisses my neck and then looks up at Manny, "actually, Jill won't even look at me when we watch movies, you know, film geek." I turn around and hit his arm, "hey, you're not wrong, but I make films for a living, I have to study them."

Throughout the movie Aaron would sit so he had his head on my shoulder or lap and then Manny or Tyler would throw popcorn at us until Chace convinced them to stop. Once we got out, Jordan was waiting for us in the parking lot, "there's my baby girl! Daddy missed you so much!" Aaron grabs Addy from Jordan, "oh my goodness she is absolutely beautiful guys," Tyler says as he walks over to Aaron. We all talk for about 10 minutes, and I then suddenly feel a weird feeling in my stomach, "Aaron," he looks over at me, "I don't feel good." He places a hand on my lower back and looks at me, worried, "what is it baby? What's wrong?" My chest starts to tighten up, "I think it's my anxiety, Aaron, I can't breathe." I grab his forearms, trying to make some distance between us, "Jill, what do you need honey?" By now the guys have realized what's going on and Jordan puts Addy back in her stroller, "Jill hold on, I have some water in my car." I get really dizzy and grab Aaron tighter to steady myself, "sweetheart, it's okay, I'm here." I nod and lean back against Tyler's car, "I need to sit down." Tyler unlocks his car and opens the front door for me to sit down, Aaron kneels down in front of me, "Jordan's running back now, okay? Do you need any medicine or anything?" I shake my head and he stands up taking the water bottle from Jordan, "here you go, take small sips okay?" I do as he says and my head starts to feel a little more normal. Aaron wipes away my tears as he places a hand on my cheek, "you alright love?" I nod and relax in his touch, "did you not take your medication this morning?" I look at Aaron, not wanting to tell him the truth. "Jill..." I throw my head into my hands, "I haven't taken it in the past three weeks. I felt so good I didn't think I'd need it, Aaron. And then Addy came and I started getting more anxious but kept forgetting to take it. I'm so sorry." He pulls me into his body, "don't apologize for that baby, it's okay. I just really need you to start taking it again, you need to."

"Are you feeling better Jill?" I nod and take Addy from Jordan, "thanks Jordan for watching her. Will you come to my old job with me tomorrow so in case anything happens again, I'll have someone with me since Aaron has a meeting to go to?" He nods and puts my diaper bag in the trunk of my car, "I'd love to, do you want me to pick you up or meet you there?" "Just pick me up, you won't be able to get through the gate without me." We finish making our plans then Aaron and I leave, saying our goodbyes to everyone.
