Chapter 7:

Narrator's POV

The next morning, Olivia woke up next to Matt.

She noticed that they were still holding hands

"He's drooling," she giggled.

She sat up and tied her hair up into a bun. She got out of bed and put on her slippers when suddenly, a hand caught her wrist.

"Don't go just yet." he mumbled.

"I have to," she said.

"No you don't. Just come lay down with me."

Olivia got back in bed and her head rested on Matt's bare chest. He wrapped his arms around her and smiled.

"What do you think she'll say about this when she finds out ?"

Olivia asked.

"Who ? Juliette ?"

She nodded.

"Why're you so worried ? Everything will be fine. Trust me."

"Something just tells me she won't take this well."

He shook his head and kissed Olivia's forehead.

"Just don't think about it right now. Where is she anyway ?"

Olivia shrugged.

He got out of bed and made his way to the door.

"Where are you going ?" she asked.

"To see where Juliette is."

"Matt she's probably in her room. Just sit down and stop worrying."

"What if she's not ? What if she's with that 'Arin' guy and he's taken her somewhere."

Olivia rolled her eyes and pulled the blanket over her head.

She never understood why Matt hated Arin so much. Him and Juliette have been friends since they were in 3rd grade and he makes her happy. So why worry ?

She was forced to jump out of her thoughts when she heard Matt's deep voice yell "Olivia !"

She ran to where he was and asked

"What?! What happened ?!"

But Matt kept staring in to Juliette's room and said nothing.

"Matt! Answer me ! What h-" she stopped when she noticed that her daughter's room had everything in it but her daughter.

"Call 911 !" he yelled.

"Matt, she's probably over at Arin's house !" she replied

"How do you know ?"

"I've known her way longer than you have. I think I know where she goes."

"Oh are you saying that I'm a bad father ?!" he yelled.

"Calm the fuck down !" Olivia shouted back.

He looked at her with a blank expression, trying to catch his breath.

He sighed as he made his way to Juliette's bed and sat down.

"Hey," Olivia cooed as she began to make her way next to Matt, "she's fine."

"Sorry," he began, "it's just that... I wasn't a really 'good' teenager. And I think that Arin isn't one either."

"Matt you think that he's a bad kid. You don't know it." Olivia replied. "And besides," she continued while holding Matt's hand, "Juliette is really happy with him. It's a step up from her other ex boyfriends."
