Have you ever thought of how small us humans are?
How small our planet really is?
Compared to our universe, we are just another little thing in space. Another little thing that can be destroyed in a matter of seconds. A tiny blue dot floating in an abyss.

The universe is so massive. Haven't you wondered about us not being the only living things in the universe? Well, let me break it to you.

We are not alone.

It all started in the year 2020. And that year, well, it happens to be the year I was born in. I was only around six months old when they arrived.

Now you maybe asking; who are they? They are the people that came from above. From space.

They are the the things that came here to our home planet Earth, with the intentions of taking over of our home and making it theirs. They are the monsters that assassinated thousand upon thousand of our men and women who fought to keep our planet safe. They are the reason why us humans suffer and hide in the shadows; the reason we're scared of coming up above ground to see the sun, to even feel nature itself. They took everything from us and I intend to make them suffer for it.

At six months old you probably think I would be sleeping, drooling all over toys, and just enjoying life and everything a kid should be doing at that young age, but not me. I was on the run with my family trying to survive this hell of an Earth.

Well, technically not run since I was a baby. I couldn't run and I couldn't even crawl, but I think you get the point. I have been on the run ever since they came. Hiding. Fighting. Scavenging. Rebelling. Doing everything to survive.

When they arrived, all humans were sent to underground shelters, which were military bases where they kept extra supplies in case of a world catastrophe. My family and I lived there for a long time, never coming up to the surface until the goverment would say we had won the war with the new arrivals or Arys.

But we never won.

They call themselves Arytians, but we just call them Arys since it's a shorter word to scream if you were ever being attacked by one of them.

They look just like humans, but are much different then us. They are all born with the different markings on their bodies that looks like a weird patterns to us humans, but it's considered important for them. Some cultural importance bullshit.

They have better vision, they're much faster, and they're stronger. Not only that, but their healing abilities are unbelievable. A wound that would take two weeks to heal for a human, would heal for them in a matter of minutes.

Their eyes are one of the few things I find magnificent about them. Their eyes are no where near close to human eyes, the unfamiliarity of it is intriguing to me. They look like human eyes, but they're constantly changing, alternating between beautiful hues. The most fascinating part is how  the color stops in a certain color depending on the emotion they're feeling. When they don't feel anything, their eyes just keep changing colors until they start to feel something again. They can hide the mood they're feeling, but not for long.

They are also stronger and faster to the average human, which is the reason they have taken over of our planet. They think we're weak. Truthfully; we are physically inferior, but we have bravery and courage to stand up to them. Even though we know we can't take them down without some cost to ourselves, we know it's a small price to pay for our freedom .

After all humans were sent to underground shelters, our militias were sent up to the surface to try to fight them off. Sadly, we couldn't. Our people, even with all their determination and drive, were slaughtered like animals
