Dear Dead Tree,
We have been "friends" since third grade. Girl scouts, a camping trip, was when we really bonded. The next year I transferred to your school and you were a different person than at girlscouts. You were the popular girl, the one who started rumors. I was one of the people that got along with everyone, for some reason, everyone was hurt and hated you. I think that you have grown a lot since then. You are still the same girl. But you reflect on things differently now. Honestly people think a lot of you. I'm really excited for our adventures in D.C. next week. I hope we become closer and see more of who each other truly are. I hate you sometimes, I'll be honest there. But because of you I have met so many amazing people that can't begin to express my gratitude for. Yet, you have ruined so many possibilities. Maybe sparing heartbreak. Perhaps a vengeance for all those years ago. We have many differences. But we have some of the same struggles. There is more to my story than you think...
