Chapter Two

Meanwhile, Percy continued to go to Goode High School, as he decided to give it another go. He would be a sophomore for the school year.

As much as Annabeth wanted to attend the school too, she wasn't able to, but she was able to attend a boarding school in New York, close to Olympus so she could oversee the rebuilding efforts.

Plus, she was also very close to Percy, so they saw eachother quite often, going on dates to the movies and other things as such.

Yet, they still missed each other the days they weren't able to be together. But, they saw each other very often, so it wasn't much of a problem.

Percy wasn't too worried that guys would be all over Annabeth, since most guys were scared of her, but it was Annabeth who was mostly worried.

She knew how girls were, since she was one herself. Percy was very hot, in a lot of girl's opinions, including Annabeth's, so she wasn't too sure what would happen. But she just had to trust him, and hope he wouldn't do anything stupid.

Holding hands, the young couple made their way to the beach. It was in fact, the same beach Percy had gone with Rachel, but he didn't Dare tell her that.

See what I did there? No? Ok, then...

Anyways, since Percy was actually 16 now, he was allowed, but not very often, to use Paul's new car. He had forgiven Percy, since he knew about Percy's other crazy world, but he always told Percy to be careful, just in case...

Percy always loved the beach. Him and Annabeth went there quite often for dates and such. Annabeth had also came to love the place. The smell of the fresh ocean breeze, the sound of the waves thrashing about, it was just a delightful place.

Not to mention, Percy smelled exactly like the ocean. A smell so fresh and salty, a smell that Annabeth loved so much.

Annabeth was dressed pretty casually but to Percy, she always looked like Infinity golden drachmas, because she looked beautiful in anything.

After changing into their swimsuits, they ran down to the ocean, holding hands, of course!

Since it was a private beach, they were the only ones there, and they liked it that way.

Annabeth laughed as Percy's head came up from the water. He playfully took a deep breath and submerged his head underwater once more.

He tugged on her hand, bringing her underwater, too. He formed an air bubble around them, instead this time they didn't kiss, not yet atleast.

"This feels so weird!" She laughed.

He laughed along with her and held her hand, "C'mon!"

Swimming, they made their way to the very bottom of the ocean.

"What are we doing down here?" Annabeth asked.

"This." Percy smirked.

He held one side of her head, bringing her into a kiss.

She responded immediately, wrapping both arms around his neck. Her hands were very close to his 'weak spot' on the small of his neck, making his whole body tingle.

The kiss turned rather fiesty very quickly, and soon became a make out session.

They both broke the kiss to get air, as they were both in need of oxygen, which was quite weird since they were still, indeed, underwater.

"Well, that escalated quickly." Annabeth said, laughing.

He joined her, and while still laughing, he said, "C'mon, let's go."

She nodded, and they both made their way back to the surface, having a quick splash-fight.
