Have you ever just gotten so mad at something that you want to throw it out the window?
I'm currently like that with my flute.
Yes, I am a flutist (I also played the clarinet and electric guitar for a while! I can play a couple other instruments, but I can't play them as well.).
And I have to do a solo.
For a judge.
And before, I thought the solo was on APRIL the 12th, not MAY the 12th.
So I was freaking out, because I had about a week to get it perfect.
The solo was REALLY difficult.
For a first year flutist, THIS IS HARD AS F***!!!!
Then when April the 11th rolled around, I asked the band teacher when we where being judged (just for reasons) and he said MAY the 12th.
When April the 12 came along, he gave us a new solo and told us we would never use the solo I had pretty much perfected (AND stressed over for a week) ever again.
Not as difficult, but still hard.
I was really, REALLY pissed.
But I kept my positive attitude!! :)
So now I'm having to learn this, and I'm failing pretty badly.
Not to mention we are too dang broke to go get my flute fixed.
UGH.
LIFE.
