Mackenzie's POV:
"Maddie!" I yelped, pleading for her help, but she just sat there, emotionless, staring at me with lifeless eyes. Owner dragged me down the steep basement stairs. It was very cold down here, and the concrete felt like ice on my bare feet.
"Come here." Owner said in his gruff voice, jerking me around the corner into a medium sized room. The room had deep maroon colored walls, and was lined with all sorts of metal equipment. When owner saw me gawking at all of the strange equipment, he slapped me across the face with a cold callused hand.
"Stop lookin' around and cooperate!" He shouts, pushing me towards chains that are hanging on the wall. I try not to make noise as he chains my hands to the wall. The metal cuffs are too tight.
"Now, it's time for your punishment. You've been a bad girl." He sighs, walking away to get some kind of tool, which is a whip with little spikes on it.
"Now remember, what happens if you scream?"
"I get punished more." I squeak.
"Good. Are you sure you understand?"
"Yes."
"Yes what?" He demands.
"Yes, Owner."
