Chapter 5

Cher's POV :

Day after day, It's getting worst. Harry is gone..I'm afraid that I call him and he insults me again, My mood is getting worst by days passing..I really should do something

I thought and thought about it.

"Just stop thinking about it already, it's gonna be okay!" Huh, Who am I fooling..Myself, Nothing is alright..Damn I really have to do it, Harry stood up for me in my hardest times..Now it's my turn

I picked my phone and I called Demi

"Hey Demi" I said in a low voice

"Cher, Babe hey..Your voice, What's wrong"

"Nothing to worry about, Uh hey can you give me Megan's phone number?"

"Megan? Haha! Megan who? Harry's girl?"

"Yea I need it, Really now. No jokes"

"Chill, I will send it in a message"

I sat down waiting Demi to send me a message

Dang, I got it..Okay, Let's do this

I will call Megan

"Hey Megz, It's Cher.."

"Cher! I was waiting for you to call" I felt like she got happy cause I called her

"Waiting? is everything alright?"

"Yeah no worries, Can you meet me at starbucks?"

"Sure"

"Okay I will see you in 10 minutes"

I got ready I wore a sweater and a skinny jeans and I made a messy bun hair style..It doesn't matter now I just gotta know what's happening

I went to Starbucks and I sat waiting while staring at me and Harry's picture together on my phone's lock screen

"Cher?"

I turned around

"Hey Megan, I'm glad you're here"

"Believe me not glad as I am"

We chatted, You know..Girls chat then..

"Cher, I saw Harry walking out my house madly yesterday, Is everything alright?"

"I was going to asking you that" I said 

"Listen, Can you keep a secret? Will you be my secret box?"

"Sure, You can trust me"

"Cher, I have breast Cancer" She said while looking down sadly

I got really shocked "What?! Are you for real? Why aren't you in the hospital!" 

"It's too late, I have less weeks now, Who knows maybe I can leave the wonderful world now"

"No no no! Don't you say that, Megz. You're strong! You can handle it" I said in a shock

"I'm afraid I can't, See. Sometimes bad things happenes to good people..I'm not regreting anything..I'm really glad I had Harry in my life but now maybe he hates me" She said it, I can feel she's holding back her tears

"Hate you? What?" I really can't understand a thing she's talking about

"Umm, Let me tell you..Yesterday, The reason why Harry got mad because.." She couldn't handle it, A tear fell on her cheek

"Because..?" 

"I wanted him to hate me, I can't handle seeing Harry getting sad because his girlfriend has cancer..So I told him that I cheated on him with Joe, It's not true and please don't tell him about the cancer thing" She wiped her tears and she looked on her phone.

"Oh it my rest time, Sorry baby I can't stay longer..Keep everything between me and you! Love you" She said while getting her stuff and she left the Cafe fastly 

She left me in a shock, I don't know what to say. I don't know what to do..I can't even tell Demi about it.. I sat alone in the Cafe thinking

"It's getting late, I need to leave now" I said to my self, I paid for the drinks and left to the house

I got home I wore a pair of shorts and a sweater 

I kept crying myself the whole night to sleep, Me and Megan aren't close friends but life is scary..How come a person can die this easily, What would Harry do if he knew she has cancer? 

I finally feel asleep and forgot everything for a while..Nightmares kept following me..I can't say anything but I had the hardest nights
