Mabuti nalang at na-late yung professor namin sa practical research kaya naka-pag quiz pa kami ni Neil.

Hay! Hindi talaga ako makapaniwala na niyaya ako ni Neil kumain sa isang restaurant mamayang 8:00 PM. Hindi naman yun date o ano. Gusto lang daw niyang makipag-bonding. So why not? Wala namang mawawala.

"Rancis, what are the five hierarchy of human needs according to maslow?"

Ay nalintikan na! Ano nga ba ulit yon? Diyos ko brain isip isip.

Mahinhin akong tumayo mula sa aking pagkaka-upo.

Nginitian ko muna ang professor ko na nag-e-expect na wala akong maisasagot.

"Maslow's five hierarchy of needs. It is divided into three different category... category one: The basic needs, which contains the physiological needs: food, water, warmth, and rest. The second is safety needs: security, and safety."

The whole class clapped. Nakita ko naman si Neil na nag thumbs up pa sakin.

"Continue..." says professor.

Ano nga ba yung pangatlo? Shit nakalimutan ko!

"Mr. Ong, is there a problem?"

"Ah, professor nakalimutan ko po yung ikatlo."

Ngumisi naman si professor, "Is that so? Then I will allow you to call one friend to help you."

Tinignan ko ang mga ka-klase ko. Ngayon nagsisise akong hindi ko sila pinapansin. Shit! Si Neil lang ang close ko sa classroom na 'to.

"Mr. Ong, wala ka bang friend na matatawag?" maintrigang tanong ni Sir.

Magsasalita palang sana ako ng biglang tumayo si Neil mula sa kanyang seat.

"The third hierarchy of needs is belongingness and love needs: intimate relationships, and friendship."

Naramdaman kong habang sinasabi yun ni Neil ay nagsitaasan ang aking mga balahibo. Bakit ganun siya maka-titig sakin habang sinasabi niya yung mga yon? I can't!

"Splendid, Neil. You may now take your sit," ani professor. "Mr. Rancis Ong, please continue."

"The fourth is esteem needs: prestige and feeling of accomplishment. And the last and the most important one is self actualization: achieving one's full potential including creative activities."

"Okay, Mr. Ong your grade is 90. I deducted five points because you were not able to give me one of the five hierarchy of needs. That would be all, class dismissed."
