Later at the hospital, Rhett and Link sat in the exam room as they waited for a doctor to show up.
As they waited, Link turned to Rhett and said "Hey Rhett?"
"Yeah Link?" Rhett replied
"I've been thinking. What if the condom broke?" Link asked
Rhett became nervous.
How could Link be thinking about this at the same time Rhett was worrying about it?
He knew Link since they were in first grade together and there had always been moments where one would guess what the other was thinking. But, this was more than just guessing.
Link was right!
"That could be possible." Rhett said
"If it makes you feel any better, I'm not scared of what could happen." Link said
"I'm terrified!" Rhett said "I feel like this is my fault."
Link shook his head and put his hand on Rhett's.
"It's not your fault. This just happened." Link said before he vomited
Soon, a doctor entered the exam room.
"Hello gentlemen!" the doctor said as he walked in
"Hello!" Rhett said as he stuck his hand out for the doctor to shake
Link looked up from the trash can and said "Hello."
Rhett looked over at his lover and smiled as he put an arm around him.
"So, I hear you have come to see me because you're sick?" the doctor asked
Both Rhett and Link gave the doctor a "Duh." look.
"I think it's pretty obvious why we're here." Link said as he held the trash can
The doctor just looked at us in confusion.
*Flashback-a month ago at the Streamys* Rhett and Link walked into their hotel room while holding hands and laughing.
Then, Link threw his arms around Rhett and kissed him.
"I love you. " Rhett said
"I love you too. " Link replied as he and Rhett backed into a wall and proceeded to make love
As both men continued to passionately kiss, they focused on undressing each other.
"I think we're in over our heads, Link." Rhett said as he took Link's glasses off and pulled his shirt off
Link laughed to himself.
"When haven't we been in over our heads?" He asked as he unbuttoned Rhett's shirt and continued to kiss Rhett on the lips
Soon, Rhett and Link's moment of passion evolved into something more sexual.
"It was a great idea to come here early. " Rhett said
Link moaned.
"Oh yeah!... Right there baby. " he said
Rhett chuckled and said "Do you like that? "
Link nodded and whimpered.
"I'll take that as a yes. " Rhett said
*end flashback*
"So this happened because of a one night stand during an award show?" the doctor asked
Link vomited into the trash can and replied "Yes. "
The doctor sighed.
"I think it's obvious what happened here, Mr. Neal... You may not believe this but, it will sink in over the next few months. " he said
"What are you talking about?" Link asked
"You're pregnant. " the doctor replied
As Rhett and Link heard this news, they looked at each other in shock.
"I didn't know I could do that. " Link said
"What? Get pregnant? " Rhett asked
"Yeah. " Link replied with a small smile
But, that smile didn't last long as Link was hit with another wave of nausea.
"Is that normal? " Rhett asked the doctor
"He should get over it in a few months. " the doctor said
"A few months?! " Link asked in shock
"It seems long but, most pregnancies begin this way." the doctor replied
"This isn't just any ordinary pregnancy. Link's a man." Rhett said
"And men don't get pregnant." Link finished
"But you did." the doctor said
"Dang it! He has a point. " Link said to Rhett who shook his head
