We are walking down to the diner,when suddenly, there's a loud whine. I cover my ears. Will and bill bend over and press their hands over their ears. it won't stop. The pitch gets higher. I feel like my ears are bleeding. I feel like I'm turning to liquid. I can't feel at all. The noise suddenly stops. I fall to the ground. My noodle arms don't want to work, and neither do my legs. I strain to look at bill. He is curled up into a ball on the ground. I drag myself over to him. He is shaking uncontrollably.
"Bill." I mutter. It comes out as more of a groan. I say his name again. Mabel sits up and groans. So does Stan and Ford. She crawls over to will, who fell three feet away from her. Bill stops moving. I shake his shoulders. He groans. I shake him again. He grabs my hand.
"Will?" Mabel cries. He rolls on to his back. Bill does the same. He is cross eyed. Everyone is wondering what just happened. Bills vision seems to clear. He looks at me.
"Your bleeding" he whispers. He raises an arm up and gently wipes under my nose. I look at Stan, who also has a bloody nose. He wipes it away. I look back at bill. He sits up, and puts a hand to his head. He runs it through his hair.
"What was that?" I ask.
"I haven't heard one of those in years." Ford says, astounded.
"You know what that was?" Stan says. Great uncle Ford nods.
"I studied it a long time ago." I never saw it in the journals. Stan looks just as confused. He states that he never saw it. Ford sighs.
"I never had time to right it down." I grab out journal number three and look at its empty pages. Bill sighs.
"My head hurts like no other." He groans. His eyes are blowing blue. Wills are glowing gold.
"Maybe you should wear you eyepatches, just for precaution." I say. He looks at me.
"What?" He says. He sounds annoyed.
"Your eyes are glowing." He looks down.
"Oh." He mumbles. Will and bill put eye patches on. Their eyes stop glowing. I look at Mabel. She looks at me, worried.
"What now" bill grumbles. I shrug.
"You still hungry?" I ask.
