Norman gasped while Jonathon snorted "He's a criminal, he's not stupid. he knows better than to bring a gun to school"

Red smiled "We can ask him when he comes to school"

They all turned their heads towards her "NO!"

Red frowned "Why? So what if he was a criminal. He might be a nice criminal"

Gina started laughing at her friend "How are you even in high school?"

"hey!" Red hit her playfully "Don't judge someone when you don't even know them!"

Norman groaned "Here we go"

Jonathon stared at Red "How many times do we have to go through this?"

Red glared at him "Don't be mean!"

"Stop being naive, Red, please! Just promise us you won't talk to Damon Cooper" Holly said placing her hand on top of Red's. Red hesitated for a moment before sighing in defeat as they were all staring at her pleadingly.

"Kay" She replied, messing around with the food on her plate. They all sighed in relief and continued talking, Red joined in their conversation after a while and they forgot about Damon Cooper.

"Hey, Red!" Jonathon called out as Red was about to get into her car. She grinned at him and watched as he jogged towards her "What's up big guy?"

He chuckled "You always come up with new nicknames don't you?"

"Sure, johnny" Red said unaware of the double meaning behind her words. Johnathon laughed "Gina and I have been talking and she was wondering... well I was wondering" he cleared his throat "We both were wondering if you'd like to come with us to the diner tonight. We're going to have milkshakes and you know.. hang out and do stuff"

"Oh yay! I'd love to. I'll even get my uno cards" Red chirped and Jonathon nodded "Alright, see you tonight then"

"Bye, bye sweetie!" Red hugged Jonathon with a giggle and he hugged her back with a soft happy sigh

"Bye, baby girl"

Jonathon was accustomed to calling her baby girl. She was actually the baby in their small group of friends. She was carefree and fun and most of the time childish.

Jonathon, Gina and Red have been friends since middle school. Gina was new in town and Red's new neighbor and Red was the usual her, she immediately became Gina's friend and they enrolled in middle school together, of course, Red got along with everyone in her school and she made friends with Jonathon who was kind of a loner back then. And they all ended up being the best-est of friends.

When they came to highschool together, Jonathon decided to have guy friends because people were starting to make fun of him so he joined the football team and that's how he became the most famous guy in school. Red was just Red and she also became very popular and everyone's friend. However, Gina felt a little left out when she met Norman and Holly. They were both kind of like her, not very social. And they all just hit it off immediately and in no time they were what everyone wanted to be. Especially, Red and Jonathon.

And... Jonathon ended up having this crush on Red but she was too gullible, way too gullible.

Red got inside her car and drove home. Once she arrived, she parked her car in the driveway and got out of her car singing to herself.

"Hey momma!" Red announced, closing the door behind her. "Hey honey, I'm in the kitchen!" Her mom called out. Red started towards the living room where her father was sitting on the couch watching TV. She bent down from behind the couch towards her father and kissed his cheek "Hi daddy"

"Hey baby girl... how was school today?" He asked, taking his eyes off the tv to stare at his daughter.

She giggled "It was fine, Miss Jeniffer gave us this stupid project to work on but Holly's my partner so I'm okay with it"

"How about you guys, what did you do today?" Red asked sitting next to her father. Red's dad was a retired man. He was in his early 60's but her mom was in her early 50's, a 10 year gap between the two. Red was the youngest child in the family, she has one older sister and one older brother and they're both married with kids.

"Well, Howard invited us over for breakfast and we went, then your sister called us and said she was going to have lunch with us today and leave the kids over so that her and her husband could go out on a date or something at night" He said chuckling. Red giggled "Aren't they a little too old for that?"

"You're telling me?" Mathew, Red's father, said with an amused smile. Red got up "Well I better go help mommy then" and with that she skipped to the kitchen where her mother stood near the stove with a spatula in her hand and she was huffing and puffing.

"Heya momsie!" Red gave her mother, Serra, a quick kiss on the cheeks. Serra smiled at her daughter "Hey, Red. Can you watch these for me please? I still need to make the soup. I swear your sister chose the wrong day and time to come over"

"Selena always does" Red said and stirred what was inside the bowl "Mm, I'm starved!"

"Eat a chocolate bar or something, the food will be ready in an hour" Serra said opening the fridge and throwing a snack bar at her. Red grabbed it easily and started munching on it while her mother did the rest of the cooking.

An hour later, the door bell rang. Red had already prepared the table and the food was set and ready to be served.

"I'll get it!" Mathew grunted and walked to the door, Red stood in the corner watching her father as he swayed the door open and a yell of 'GRANDPA!' filled the room. Red grinned and watched the three children hug her father and run inside.

"HEY! COME BACK HERE!" Selena, Red's sister groaned but her kids were already inside "RED!" They squealed and jumped at her. Selena had 3 kids, 2 twin boys around 9 and one girl who was 7.

"Haha, hey you guys!" Red gave them each a hug and patted their heads "Go on to the kitchen, the food is ready"

"Foooooood!" The two boys yelled and the smallest one giggled and mimicked her brothers "FOOD!"

"These kids are going to be the death of me" Selena walked towards her sister and Red grinned "Hey, Sel"

"Hey, Red"

"Come on! Food's getting cold!" Serra, Red's mother yelled and they all hurried inside before getting scolded.

"Harry, behave!" Selena yelled at her son who was kicking his brother from under the table. "MOM! he's not stopping!" Heath groaned and kicked his brother back. "I swear if you both did not stop this second, I'm going to ground you for 2 months!"

This made them stop instantly.

"Mommy, I'm a good girl right?" Helena stared at her mom innocently and they all chuckled at the adorable kid "Yes you are" Selena rolled her eyes and continued eating.

"So, Red... how's school?" Selena asked and Red shrugged "It's good.." when she remembered something and her eyes widened "Oh! Uhm, theirs this guy called Damon Cooper, I think? He's coming to our school. They say he's a bad boy"

"Cooper? Why the hell would they let him enroll in your school!?" Mathew asked, slightly angry and worried about his daughter being in the same school as a delinquent. Red shrugged again, frowning a little.

Why do they all hate Damon Cooper? Poor Damon, so many people hate him... he's going to be in school without friends.

Red sighed and continued eating.

"Red, don't go near that boy, okay?" Serra warned her and Red nodded "Okay"

"Promise?" Selena now said and Red nodded again "Yes, promise"

They all knew Red and her friendliness. They needed to make sure that Red stays away from him no matter what or she'll be in big, big trouble.
