The problem with Alpha Ian

Chapter 16

"Almost there" I mumble and hang up.

A part of me didn't want to go help and let Bella hurt Julia so she would stop being a pain in my ass but I know Isabella would never forgive herself.

As soon as I am parked I see them.

Nira was saying something to them but was being ignored as Isa cornered Julia into the wall.

As I got closer all I heard was growling coming from Bella. Whatever she thought she was saying had turned to wild growling from deep within her chest.

I sigh "Bella" when I touch tap her shoulder she turns her head, baring her teeth at me.

The fact that she was acting like a complete animal didn't surprise me, she'd had temper tantrums before.

But her eyes.

They rest of her eye was deep black but the iris was a vivid red making her look demonic.

What Adron and the witch in my dream came back to me.

I am making her go dark.

Thinking fast, I quickly grab her shoulder and pull her back from Julia with all of the strength I could muster.

She growls, and starts stalking towards me.

"Isabella, calm down" I order but she doesn't listen.

She slashes at my face with her elongated canines still without completely shifting.

Nira was too busy try to calm Julia down to notice the scene.

I touch my cheek, I had 4 bleeding claw marks and a still very angry, crazy and possibly blood thirsty she wolf in front of me.

What to do, what to do?

And then it comes to me.

"Dormi" I say quickly touching her forehead making Isabella fall limply to the ground.

The 'thump' makes Nira turn to us only to see her on the floor and start freaking out.

"What did you do to her?" She growls.

"Relax, she's alive" I say picking Isabella up bridal style.

Nira rolls her eyes "I know she is, I can hear her heart beat, but did you put her in a comma or something?"

"Nope, just sleeping. Now if you'll excuse me we are going back home. I'll call Reid and tell him that Bella is really sick and I have to take care of her" I turn around.

"You saw it too, the eyes I mean. They were red, she looked evil." Julia whispers shakily.

I shake my head not turning to look at her "No, I didn't see anything. Her eyes were normal you probably imagined it" I lie.

The last thing I need is Julia trying to find answers as to why Isabella went bat shit.

I tap Isabella's forehead "Surgit"

She wakes up with a gasp. "What happened?"

I sit on the corner of her bed "I don't know, you tell me"

"Julia, she lied to me. Last thing I remember is her telling me that Ian is her Alpha and then feeling really mad, like REALLY mad. That's all I remember" Isabella tells me, then her eyes land on my face. My cheek to be exact.

"Oh my, what happened. Who did that to your face?" Bella asks, her face contorting into one of anger.

"You did, you were about to attack Julia so I intervened and well you can figure out the rest."

"I am so sorry Con, I don't remember any of that. I really don't"

I wave her off smirking "No worries, not the first time we've gotten a little rough"

"Oh my god Connor shut up!!!" She screeches, blushing.

I laugh "Get some rest, I have a few things to do."

"I'm not sleepy, what things?" Asks Bella.

"Dormi" and then I tap her forehead successfully rendering her unconscious.

This is actually quite helpful.

I walk to my room, and lock the door just in case Isabella wakes up.

I don't want her to know what I'm doing.

I decided, that to find answers as to how to stop whatever it is that is changing Bella I have to go to the source.
Grabbing my witchcraft book I start skimming through it, trying to find the spell I was looking for.

"Ducis ad infernum et ego invocabo vos" I chant but nothing happens.

I look back at the book to see if I said anything wrong.

"You did an exquisite job" A voice says, I look up to see the thing I had called.

He was tall at least 8 feet tall, with dark black hair and pale skin. He would have looked like a normal human being if it wasn't for fact that his eye sockets were empty and his teeth were sharp.

"Valafar" I greet.

He smiles, showing his needle like teeth.   "Oh please, call me daddy"
