Perplexed under love's obscured glances
Words that were so cryptic to my ears
Kept me awake all night,
Tossing and turning,
Thinking...
Over-Thinking...
Trying to find reasons and meaning,
To the puzzle I found myself lost in.
Did he really mean those words?
Should I trust him with my heart?
Something inside, burns to try,
A wiser part is busy examining,
While a critical part refuses to believe.
Baffled deeply,
I try to calm my emotion,
And for the sake of Hope, Wondered...
What will I lose if I believe?
Analyzing...
Over-Analyzing...
I'm just left staring outside the window,
Into the oblivion,
As the stars shine,
Inspiring me with its light,
Upon the background of the dark sky.
I realize the fault is not in love or him,
But in the darkness within me,
Of fears and doubts.
All of my trust issues,
Coming to light,
As the feelings of love,
Revealed its opponents faces.
I took hold of all my fears,
Shoved them aside,
Ignored all the negativities,
To listen to what my heart has to say.
I got my answer,
As I closed my eyes,
And found him smiling in my heart,
Which infused life within me.
The confusions were gone,
I knew that very moment,
To him is where I belong.
