The grass crunched under your feet as you walked over to the oak tree that towered over you. Slowly you wore away at the trunk until the tree rested in your bag. You watched as the leaves fell slowly, their lifeline now destroyed, making you feel slightly guilty. You walk over and replant a sapling that had fallen from the foliage.

"This will be my tree..." you thought.

Keeping this in mind, you planned to build your house near by. The forest close to the area would provide you with a steady supply of wood and the plains where animals roamed offered you plenty of food. Giving a sigh of fatigue, you tread to the flat expanse of land in the close distance to begin your structure.

Stacking plank after plank your house began to take shape and soon, it was suitable to live in. You were incredibly tired and wanted nothing more than to curl up in your warm bed, but, there was still work to be done. Equipping your newfound home with a crafting bench, furnace, and chests you were ready to give into your urges and head to bed, yet, the sounds of rattling bones and zombies moaning kept you awake.

You weren't sure when you fell asleep during the night but, apparently, you did. It was morning when you woke and there was much do be done. After making yourself a couple of stone pickaxes, you headed towards the cave you had spotted the day before. Gathering as much iron as you could carry, you came back home, your shoulder sore from carrying a heavy bag for such a long period of time. Lighting your furnace, you placed the unpurified iron ores into it, letting the slow process of cleaning the excess stone take place. While this was happening, you continued to make your house look presentable. Putting in windows here and there and placing the occasional flower pot to liven up an area that you thought looked dull. Even after all this, you still weren't content and began placing wooden chairs and tables, playing around with the placement of things. At last, after a good hour had passed, you were somewhat satisfied with the way things looked. You went to bed, happy with your accomplishments, oblivious of what was to come.
