Your pov

"Alright,that's enough messing around,let's get back to work",Laurance sighed.

After a while,I finished the sketch.I sighed in relief and stretched.

"Are you done?",Laurance asked."Yeah",I said rubbing my eyes.Laurance took the poster from me and got a brown outliner and started to do the lineart.I had nothing else to do,so I talked with Nicole,Katelyn,and Cadenza.They started talking about stuff I wasn't familiar with,so I went on my phone.After a while,my eyes got heavy and I soon drifted off to sleep.

Laurance's pov

As I was working on the lineart,I heard Y/n talking with the girls.But as time went on,she stopped.I looked over and saw her on her phone.

"Looks like she's getting bored,I better hurry up",I thought.

I was now about 90% done,when I felt something on my shoulder.I looked over and I felt my face heat up.Y/n was sleeping calmly with her head on me.I didn't want to move her,that might wake her up.And I couldn't finish the lineart with her on me,I could mess up.I gently put down the outliner and picked up the blanket that was on the sofa next to me.I put the blanket on her and smiled.As I was looking at her,I bright light filled my vision.

"Cadenza,I told you the flash was on!",Nicole semi-whispered.
"I thought you where joking!",Cadenza responded.My face felt like it was burning.
"What do you guys think your doing!",I said angrily.Katelyn shushed me.
"Shut up,Laurance.You'll wake her up",Katelyn whispered.I sighed and looked back at Y/n,she was still sleeping.

"What time is it?",I thought as I looked at my watch."It's already 6? Should I wake her up?"

"And watch as the beautiful princess sleeps soundly",I heard Travis say.I looked over,only to see him recording on his phone.
"Travis,you perv.Don't do stuff like that to Y/n",Aaron sighed as he grabbed Travis' phone to stop recording.The two began to argue and I felt a slight movement.I looked over and saw that Y/n was opening her eyes.She looked up at me and blinked a few times before sitting up.

"L-Laurance! S-sorry about that!",her face was bright red.
"Hey,d-don't worry about it",I avoided eye contact and scratched my neck.She picked up her phone and sighed.
"I better get going,we have school
tomorrow",Y/n said as she stood up and sat the blanket down,face still red.
"I'll walk you home",I said as I stood up.
"N-no,you don't have -",she started to say.
"Of course I do.I don't want you walking home alone this late",I intruded as I walked over and picked up her backpack.
"You're not going to take no for an answer,are you?",Y/n sighed.
"Nope,let's go!",I smiled.I started walking down the stairs,and heard her following behind.As we walked down,I heard everyone saying 'Goodbye' or 'See you tomorrow',and a few 'Text me!'

We made it to the front and I stopped and looked at her.

"So,which way is it?",I asked.She pointed to the house across the street.

"We're neighbors?!",I asked excited.
"Yup",she answered,a small smile on her face.I walked her across the street and stopped at the door.
"Well,Cadenza and I will pick you up tomorrow.Sleep well",I said as I handed her her backpack then walked off,not giving her time to respond.

Your pov

I stood infront of the door for a while,watching Laurance walk back home.Guess I'll be walking with him and Cadenza tomorrow.I sighed,unlocked the door,and walked in.

"I'm home!",I called out as I locked the door.There was no answer.I pulled out my phone.

"Where are you?",I sent a text to my mom.A few minutes passed by before she answered.
"Working overtime,I'll be back at 8",she responded.I sighed and took my shoes off,then walked to the kitchen.I washed my hands and grabbed a pan from the cabinet.I made f/f and poured myself a glass of f/d.I picked up my food and my cup then sat down and began to eat.I finished eating after 10 minutes and walked up stairs.I took a 15 minute shower then put on my pajamas,which were a f/c shirt and s/c shorts.I brushed my teeth,combed my h/c hair,and tied it into a ponytail.I sat at my desk,turned on the computer,and started watching some YouTube videos.After a while,my phone buzzed.I looked at the screen,it was a message from Cadenza.

"How did she text me,we never exchanged numbers",I thought as I unlocked my phone.
"Hey Y/n,what's up?",her message read.
"Nothing really,how did you get my number?",I sent.
"When you were sleeping me and the girls took your phone off the table and put our numbers in and got yours.Sorry we didn't ask.Also,p/c isn't that good,you should probably change that :) ",she replied.
"It's fine,I probably would've given it to you guys tomorrow",I sent.
"Laurance told me you live across the street! Guess this means we'll be able to hang out more ^-^",Cadenza's text read.
"Guess so,see ya tomorrow",I sent her as I locked my phone and turned off the computer.I got up from my desk then got into bed.I turned the light off and sighed.

"Is this a good idea? Becoming friends with all of them,is that what I actually want? They all seem nice,but so did my old friends,can I trust them? Laurance told me to open up and I want to believe him,but maybe I shouldn't get so close to them,just in case",I thought as I drifted off to sleep.

Time skip to morning

I already finished getting ready for school and had just started locking the door when I heard a voice from behind me.

"Ready to go?",I turned around to see a smiling Laurance and Cadenza.I nodded and locked the door,then went between the two.We started walking,all three of us quiet.

"So,Y/n,I know you don't like sports,but Zack has a game Friday.I was wondering if you wanted to come.I asked you yesterday,but things got a bit 'chaotic',and you never answered",Cadenza said as she broke the silence.
"Oh um,yeah I guess I'll go.Wait,isn't Friday tomorrow?",I responded.She nodded and seemed really happy,then started talking about Zack's past games.

Laurance's pov

Cadenza started talking to Y/n about Zack's game.She's really talking him up,what's the big deal? So he's the captain of the basketball team and part of the student council,it's not that impressive.After all,I am captain of the soccer team and a pretty great artist.I stared at Y/n as we walked.I hate to think it but,what if Y/n fell for Zack? I know we just met,but I kinda like her.Is that weird? Does this prove that love at first sight is a thing? Nah,can't be,this is just a crush,right? After a while,I noticed Cadenza was staring me,her eyes were narrowed and she looked a bit mad.

"H-hey,look we're here!",I said.
"The café?",Y/n asked.
"Yeah,we get a small breakfast before going to school everyday",Cadenza smiled.
"Except for yesterday,and that was only because Cadenza took too long",I sighed.
"Yeah yeah,let's go",Cadenza said as her and Y/n walked into the café.
"Yo Laurance,wait up!",I heard a voice call out.I turned around to see Dante and the guys.I waited for a bit and they soon joined up with me.They walked in,and as I had my foot through the door,I felt something on my shoulder.

"Let's keep those thoughts pure today,alright?",Garroth whispered then walked in.I slightly blushed.
"Idiot,it's not like I wanted to have those thoughts",I thought as I walked in.I walked over and sat at the spot I was at yesterday,Y/n to my side,Garroth across from me.Aaron had already took it upon himself to go and order for us,I guess we were out there long enough for Y/n to decide what she wanted.She didn't have a menu like yesterday,and was instead chatting with Travis and Cadenza.

I guess I'll have to man up and do something I don't want to in order to get closer to Y/n.Looks like I'm going to that basketball game.
