I managed to catch up with Garroth and we walked to the library.The walk was silent.I didn't know what to say to start off a conversation,and I felt a bit awkward asking him questions about himself.

"Here we are",Garroth said as we reached two giant doors.Garroth held the door for me and I walked in."Thank you",I smiled."No problem",he walked in.

Garroth walked over to a table and I followed.I sat across from him and took out my sketchbook and pencil.

"So,if you don't mind,may I ask you a question",Garroth said.I raised my head to look at him.His icy blue eyes were filled with curiosity."Sure",I replied.

"What's your relationship with Laurance?",I asked.

"W-what?",I blushed.

"Well,I know you two ran into each other this morning.In ELA you tripped and Laurance caught you,the way you guys looked at each other seemed a bit intimate to me.Then in Home Ec,you two *cough* had a "moment" ",he was a bit red after saying the last sentence.

"I-it's not like that.He got pushed and fell on me,that's it! A-and we weren't looking at each other intimately,it was just awkward.Me and him are friends,that's all",my face was flushed and I looked away.

"Oh,all alright.Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable,I was just curious is all.Laurance is my best friend,and if he does have a girlfriend,I want her to be a good influence.I know it's not any of my concern,but I still worry",Garroth itched the back of his head.

"It's great that you care for him,but I can assure you,we're just friends",I smiled.

There's no way I would be in another relationship,not after last time.Laurance said that not everyone was the same,and I believed that,but it would take a while for me to warm up to that idea.Not to mention Sasha and Michi.

I began to sketch out the dress design for our history project.I decided it would be f/c with gold detailing.I soon finished and began to read The Outsiders.Before I knew it,I had already read 5 chapters.

"Let's go",Garroth said,shocking me back to reality."What are you talking about?",I looked at him confused."The bell already rang",he chuckled.

I put my stuff in my backpack and we walked to the front of the school.

"Hey guys!",Dante waved at us,smiling.Laurance walked over to us with his hands in his pockets."Ready to go?",he smiled."I need to call my mom",I said."Alright,we'll wait by the tree over there",Laurancr said as he pointed to the sakura tree.

I took out my phone and dialed the number.The conversation was quick,seeing as she needed to go back to work.I began to walk back over to the guys,to see Travis and Aaron,and to my surprise Nicole and a girl with blue hair.

"So,can you come?",Laurance asked as soon as got close to them.
"She said it was fine to go",I responded.
"Well then,let's get going,baby",Travis winked,putting his arm around me.
"Travis you idiot,stop flirting with her.And we're waiting on Cadenza",the girl with blue hair had hit Travis upside the head.
"Oh,Y/n.This hot-headed potato is Katelyn",Nicole pointed at the girl with blue hair.
"So your the girl who beat Nicole?",Katelyn turned to me.A shiver ran down my spine as she inspected me."Good job",she stuck her hand out for me to shake.I hesitated,but then shook it.
"Look,there's Cadenza!",Travis pointed to the entrance as a tear fell down his cheek and he rubbed the back of his head.
"Of course she's with Zack...",I heard Laurance mutter under his breath.I looked over to the entrance to see Cadenza walking and smiling with a boy.I didn't notice until now,but there were two guys seating on the bench by the entrance.One with blonde hair and navy eyes and one with black hair and red eyes.Cadenza and the boy walked to our group,with the boys following behind.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?",Cadenza asked.
"Yeah,we have test to study for,and if we don't pass it....we'll be kicked off the team",he itched the back of his head.
"We'll maybe next time?",Cadenza smiled.
"Definitely! You'll be at the game Friday,won't you?",he asked.
"Of course! You'll come to won't ya?",Cadenza nudged my side.
"What?",I looked confused.
"That's right,your new.Y/n this is Zack,my close friend,Zack this is Y/n",she pointed at the guy she was talking to.
"Nice to meet you Y/n,Cadenza told me about you.You should tryout for the volleyball team",he smiled.
"Zack is the captain of the basketball team,he's pretty good!",she smiled.
"You want a good player? Well here I am sweetheart.The name's Vincent,otherwise known as your future boyfriend",the guy with red eyes kissed my hand and winked.
"I-I'm Cloud,it's very nice to meet you",the blonde waved,his cheeks blushing.
"They're also on the basketball team",Cadenza said.
"I think she gets it...let's get going Y/n",Laurance took my hand.
"A-alright",I said as I looked behind,seeing our group following.I waved goodbye to Zack,Vincent,and Cloud,and Vincent blew me a kiss.

"I hate that guy",Laurance muttered.We walked across the bridge and I had admired it,but hearing his voice directed my attention to him.He was still holding my hand,and our group was atleast 10 feet behind us,chatting and laughing.
"Laurance,what's wrong?",I began to walk beside him.
"Zack is what's wrong.That guy gets on my nerves.He's always with Cadenza,flirting.He doesn't deserve Cadenza's love.My sister deserves better.I'd rather have Dante date her",Laurance stopped to look at me.
"I didn't know Cadenza was your sister",I said.
"We're adopted siblings...",Laurance looked away."But that's not the point.Cadenza shouldn't be with a guy like that",Laurance looked back at me.
"She's old enough to choose who she wants to be with...Plus she said they were close FRIENDS,they're in the friend zone",I shrugged.
"I hope they stay in the friend zone...",he muttered.
"What an overprotective brother",I giggled.

We arrived at a small building that had the words Petite Café on them."A cafe?",I asked."Y-yeah,it's kind of our hangout",Garroth responded."You'll love it here,trust me",Laurance opened the door for me.As we entered,a smell of fresh pastries took over."Me and Y/n will order,you guys go sit",Laurance said.

We walked over to the cash register.Beside it was a bunch of pastries in a see through counter.Above the cash register was a large menu.

"Oh,Laurance-kun how are you?",Kawaii-chan said as she reached the cash register."The usual?"
"Yeah,same for the rest of the group.Though,she's never been here,so she needs to decide",Laurance put his hand on my head.
"Oh,Y/n-chan.I didn't know you knew Laurance-kun.Take your time ordering",Kawaii-chan said as she walked to the back.
"I would recommend you the strawberry sponge cake or mochi.For a drink,I think you'd like home made hot chocolate or chamomile tea,but that's just me",Laurance smiled.
"You ready yet Y/n-chan?",Kawaii-chan came back out.
"The strawberry sponge cake and chamomile tea please",I smiled.
"Kawaii-chan thinks that's a great choice!",Kawaii-chan beamed."Kawaii-chan will start making it."

Laurance and I walked to where our group was sitting.They sat at a pair of maroon couches by a bay window.We all talked for a while and made jokes.Kawaii-chan soon came with a tray with all our orders,and sat them on the table infront of us.I hadn't notice until now,but Kawaii-chan was wearing a pale pink maid dress.Before she walked away,she stopped and whispered something to Laurance.

Laurance's pov

Kawaii-chan had sat out order on the table.She was about to leave but stopped and kneeled down to reach my ear.

"Wow Laurance-kun,I'm proud you finally have a girlfriend.Especially since it's someone as cute as Y/n-chan.Oh and Laurance-kun,try not to be such s pervert with her,Kawaii-chan knows Y/n-chan is a cutie,but please keep those thoughts of yours to yourself",Kawaii-chan whispered into my ear,then walked off.My face was as red as a tomato.

Perverted thoughts? Yeah right,I'm not Travis.And wait,did she call Y/n my girlfriend? Irene help,I think I got the thoughts.
