Your pov

I finished getting into me clothes and Cadenza and I walked out to our numbers.It was winter so everyone was wearing track uniforms (like pic above,but red).I was number 9 and was surrounded by guys.A guy with snow white hair and forest green eyes was to my right,while a guy with black hair and black eyes was to my left.I sat there awkwardly as our P.E teacher came.

"Alright we have a new student! Please introduce yourself",he yelled.

I stood up and said my name quietly,though everyone seemed to hear me.

"Alright it's a pleasure to have Y/n,I'm Coach Logan",he said as he finished up roll call.

Coach? He probably coaches a few sports here.Though it doesn't really matter to me,I'm not really into sports.

"Alright feel free to play any sports you want.There's a cart with varies balls on them.Go wild",Coach Logan said as he walked away to his office.

I stood up and dusted the dirt off my bottom.

"Hey Y/n! What do you want to play?",Cadenza asked walking up to me.

"O-oh...umm....volleyball,I guess?",I shrugged.

"Volleyball? That's cool,I guess.We don't really have any good girl players.We're all pretty bad,except for Katelyn and Nicole.But who knows,maybe your good at sports?",Cadenza said as we walked over to the court.

Laurence's pov

I walked over to Garroth,Dante,Travis,and Aaron.

"The new girl's a real babe,huh?"Travis said as I joined them.

I'm not surprised Travis is already talking about Y/n,he's a real casanova.Should I be talking? Maybe I should him a lady-killer.Though he's not wrong,Y/n is VERY attractive.

"Your friends with the babe,aren't ya Laurence?",Travis said with a grin.
"Her name is Y/n.And,um....yeah....I'm pretty sure we're friends.Why?",I asked tilting my head.
"Hook a brother out",he punched my arm playfully.
"Don't you have anything better to do than check out girls?",Aaron said with his hands in his pocket.
"Of course he doesn't,have you seen his grades?",Dante chuckled.
"H-hey! I have straight Bs now!",Travis' face was red.
"Really? Didn't you use to have straight Ds? That's a major improvement",Garroth beamed.

I looked over my should and saw Y/n and Cadenza walking over to the volleyball court.

Were they friends? Since when? Did...did she listen to what I said? Is she opening up?

A small smile appeared on my face and I became curious.

"Laurence what'cha looking at?",Travis said,snapping me back to reality.
"Oh,it's just Y/n and Cadenza are heading towards the volleyball court.I kinda wanted to go watch them play",I responded.
"Oh,I get it.It seems I have a rival in love",he grinned."Let's go"

We walked up to the court and sat on a bench.

The game started.

Cadenza and Y/n were on the same team.They were going against Nicole and Kawaii-chan.

It seemed Katelyn ditched Nicole to hang out with Jeffory.

Nicole served the ball and Y/n dove hit it back over the net.

That's new.No girl has done that before,except for Katelyn.She's even managed to beat me,Garroth,Dante,Travis,and Aaron! There's no doubt about it,Nicole was great at sports.

The game continued and Y/n had made several points,eventually winning the game.

"N-Nicole-chan! K-Kawaii-chan is so sorry we didn't win! K-Kawaii-Chan should've tried harder!",we heard Kawaii-chan yell.

Your pov

"Don't worry about it",the Nicole,I guess her name was,said.

She walked over to me.

"Nice job.No one has really done that before.My name's Nicole,you're Y/n,right? You should consider joining the volleyball team,we could use a player like you.",Nicole smiled.

"Yeah,it's Y/n. I-m not really into sports so I think ill pass,thanks for the offer though",I said politely.

"What? Are you actually serious? You were AMAZING",she said eyes filled with determination.

"Thanks,but I'm really not into sports"

"Alright then.Hey,but maybe we can hang out sometime!",she said energetically.

"Oh,uh sure..",I said as nicely as possible.

Laurence's pov

Y/n actually beat Nicole.I couldn't believe it.

"She's the complete package,ain't she?",Travis said,admiring her from where he sat.
"What do you mean?",Garroth looked at him,confused.
"Well she's drop dead gorgeous and she's a great athlete.I saw her 2nd period too.She was so shy and awkward,it was adorable! "

I don't know why,but I felt jealous as he talked about her.Why was I jealous? I just met her! I do agree with what he said though. She was the complete package.She was beautiful,athletic,sweet,smart.....she was everything I could want.She's probably a great cook and funny.Heh,I gotta take this slow.We barely became friends,I don't want to ruin it with potential feelings.
