Chaper 28

"Kiran?.....Aye Kiran?? You good? I said I was sorry....seriously, it was just a joke." Seth came over to where I was sitting.

"Shut up.....just shut up and go away. I don't want to talk to you or even see you right now." I spat at him without looking up.

"Kiran, I said I was sorry....you were looking nervous so I thought I would loosen you up a bit by joking around, I didn't mean for you to get upset with me."

I couldn't take his lies anymore. I shot up from my chair and grabbed the first stack of papers that were closest to my hand and threw them in Seth's face, taking him by surprise. He looked at all the papers which were now scattered on the floor and then back at me, this time with his jaw clenched.

Seth grabbed the decorative glass piece that was on my desk and flung it on the floor, making it shatter into thousands of tiny pieces. "Seriously? You need to learn how to take a fucking joke!"

He stepped over the mess and left the room, slamming the door behind him. I sat back down in my chair, unable to hold back the tears that just brimmed at my eyes.

SETH POV
That was seriously too easy. I smiled to myself as I walked back to the locker room with my phone in hand. They say every joke has a little truth to it. In my case, I just really wanted to kiss Kiran....make her know that she could be mine. And I wasn't going to stop just there.

KIRAN POV
"Hey baby girl, how's it going?" Roman came in the trainer's room with the same camera guy. He noticed the mess of papers on the floor and the glass thrown against the wall.

I quickly dried the tears off my face to make sure he didn't know I was crying. I got up and threw my arms around him and gave him a long hard kiss. After I pulled away, I buried my face in his chest and let him hold me.

"I was only gone an hour or so...did you really miss me that much?" He asked while stroking my hair.

"Shut up..."

"Okay...just asking. By the way, what happened to all those papers on the floor?"

"It was part of the promo." I lied.

The camera guy was ready for us so I let go of Roman and let him take place for the next part of my promo.

"That went well, don't you think?" I asked him while holding his hand as we walked out the trainer's room.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see you on tv. Uh...Jim showed me the promo you did earlier."

"And....what did you think?" I was a bit hesitant but I wanted to know what his thoughts were about seeing me and Seth like that.

"It was good, you looked almost relaxed. But that little kiss at the end was a little too long, don't you think?"

I had a worried look on my face when he mentioned that. "Are you serious?"

"Nah, I'm just messing with you, it's alright. I'm not mad or anything. Yeah I still hate it but it's just part of the job and I have to accept that." He reassured me, which gave me some relief but he still had no idea what actually happened off camera.

On our way to the guys' lockerroom I was thinking to myself — If hadn't listened to Dean and had worn that skirt and top, Seth could have caused a whole lot more trouble. He was already staring a hole through me with that low cut tank top. Dean was such a good friend and here was me who was stupid enough to still be mad at him for no reason.
