We both ordered Iced Coffee. I feel bad that I was using her money.
"You seemed to be the person I can ask", Rin said out of the blue.
"Ask about what?", I asked.
"How am I supposed to act towards boys?", she asked.
"........", I didn't respond at all.
"Looks like I can't ask you about this, sorry", she said.
I felt so bad because of the way I act towards her. Well I need to tell my honest answer to her.
"I am not into looking for a relationship like those high school boys and girls", I said honestly and politely.
"I don't want to be in a relationship right now either", Rin said.
"Oh...", Shit I assumed too quickly.
"Well act like yourself then", I answered.
As soon as we finished our Iced Coffee, we went out immediately and went home.
"Thanks Rin for the treat", I said before entering my house.
"Thank you too", she said before she went in her own house.
As I entered, I saw my mom watching TV and smiled to my return.
"Welcome Back", My mom said while smiling.
I nod my head since I was not used to smiling at all.
How can my mom still smile from what my father did. Isn't she supposed to still be sad? Anyway I don't want to put that topic to my head.
I slept with because of the heavy thoughts I had in my head.
I woke up through the annoying heat of the sun. I prepared myself for school and went out of the house.
As I went out, Rin was waiting for me at the front of my house.
"Good morning", I said.
"Good morning!", She said with a happy expression.
"You seemed to be happy? What happened", I asked.
"Well you did told me to act like myself yesterday so I want to show you my real self", she replied.
I got an instant flashback when I first saw her expression when we were both still 6 years old.
"I see", I replied.
We both head off for school.
