"Just wait till college," she told herself, when her parents made her take the pregnancy test.
"Just wait till college," she told herself, when the ultrasound showed that her baby was going to be missing half of her body.
"Just wait till college," she told herself, when the big masked man shouted for her to give him her wallet.

"Just wait till college," she told herself, when the doctor told her, her baby was dying.
"Just wait till college," she told herself, when she got grounded for failing a stupid math test.

"Just wait till college," she told herself, when her parents kicked her out, for being an addict.
"Now I'm in college," she told herself while smiling, while stabbing herself, in the chest.
