so, here's the deal, I erased all the parts that said requests were open so I don't remember who requested what, but I'll write them down next time! anyway, request some more because this one was last in the queue so let it rip!

You and Taylor had decided to turn your friendship into something more, which is why you were rushing around the apartment you shared with your best friend, (y/f/n), trying to figure out what to wear to you and Taylor's first night out as a couple.

"(y/n), calm down, he's seen in you in almost everything you have." (y/f/n) said from your bed. "Heck, I think he's even seen this closet!

"I know! Which is why I bought some emergency clothes!" You remembered, rushing to the living room couch where a bag from Dillard's was resting. When you returned to your room, you dumped the contents of the bag into the bed, revealing 3 new outfits you had bought earlier.

Neither you nor (y/f/n) had a very good fashion sense but we dug in anyway. After about 7 minutes, you both agreed on a short sleeve metallic gray shirt, a 3/4 sleeve black blazer, and black jeggings. For shoes you just wore your simple black kitten heeled ankle boots.

"Where are you guys going again?" (y/f/n) asked, watching you fuss over a string on your blazer.

"A charity event...wait, why aren't you and Connor coming?"

"We can't go." (y/f/n) said, not sounding to disappointed. She'd been Connor's girlfriend for almost a year now and the number of events she'd accompanied him to was more than she liked.

Taylor was never lucky with getting dates so you were usually his date to events, but you didn't mind them. You liked Taylor's company and even now, the comfortable, social atmosphere made for a perfect, non-awkward, first date.

"Well, it's almost 7...he should be here soon." You sighed, collapsing onto your bed next to (y/f/n). She looked at you and widened her eyes before rushing next door to her room.

She returned with a pair of diamond earrings. "Here, I think these are yours but I forgot to give them back. They'd look good with your outfit."

You took them from with her a smile. "Actually," You turned them over in your hands, "Taylor gave these to me for my birthday last year. That's when I was dating Bryan..." You trailed off, remember the day after your birthday when you and Bryan had gotten into a huge fight because he thought you and Taylor had feelings for each other.

It was true but you didn't admit that to anyone until about a month ago when Taylor kissed you after the game that clinched the Oilers a spot in the playoffs.

As you were putting in the earrings a knock sounded on the door and (y/f/n) got up to let Taylor in. You took a deep breath and rushed to put the back on the second earring but your hands were shaking too bad.

Before you knew it, Taylor was standing in the doorway of your bedroom, smiling at you.

"Are those the earrings I got you?" He asked, still smiling. You gave up trying to put the earring in and sighed.

"Yeah, but I can't get the second one in." You said sheepishly. He just chuckled and walked over to you and placed a hand on your cheek. Before he started leaning in to kiss you, you caught a glimpse of (y/f/n), face with red excitement.

When Taylor pulled away he was still smiling and your blood pressure had managed to decrease.

"Hi." He said. He took the earring out of your hand and, by some sort of miracle, put it in for you. "You look gorgeous."

"I know." You shrugged playfully and stood up, wrapping your arms around his neck and hugging him. After you hugged him, you hugged (y/f/n), who wasn't especially affectionate, and told her you'd be home by midnight. She just winked at you as if to say, "Or maybe not" and you just winked back.
