Not So Typical Friends

*snoring.* it's 6:50. I should get up now. "Ughhh I hate school". Umalis na ako sa kama ko at nagbihis na agad. Then I ate cereal because YOLO. :D
Before I continue. You are probably
thinking of who I am.

Btw. I am Lucas Emeralds. I'm in college now and it's 7:20 so I'm gonna be late in 40 minutes. Haha!

It's the first day of school and I'm hoping that the whole year would be great and not weird. I heard that Richmond High is a cool school.

Naka dating ako sa school at exactly 7:43 so I'm not late. Whoooo.
Hinanap ko ang locker ko pero iba ang nahanap ko. Isang babae na naiyak sa harap ng locker ko.

"Uhm, miss? Are you ok?" I said. Then the most unexpected thing happened. She hugged me and cried on my shoulder.
"I'm not ok." She said while crying.
"Bakit? Ano ba problema?" I said while calming her.
"Natalo 1D sa iHeart Awards. Huhuhuhu." She said.

What???? She's crying because of 1D? What the?

"Ha? W-wait. Anong class mo?" I said.
"History po." She said.
Wow. A lot of 1D reference here uh?
"History din ako. Tara na. Wait? Anong name mo." I said.
"Alexa. Alexa Ravenheart."

While walking and finding our room, We talked about ourselves.

"Uhm. Hi. Ako si Lucas. 17 na ako. I love music and I play drums." I said proudly.
"I'm Alexa naman. Im a directioner and a social media addict. I like reading and I sing." She said.
"Uhmm... do you have a fandom Lucas?" She asked.
"Wala eh. Hindi ako masyado sa mga fandom." I said.
"Ah okay Luke." She said.
What? Luke? No one called me Luke.
And WHY AM I BLUSHING?!
"Oh sorry if I called you Lu-"
"I like it. Luke." I said smirking.
"Tara na. Ito na ata yung room eh. Wala pa ung prof." sabi nya.

I have this feeling that I want to give her a nickname too. Ay wait andyan na ung prof.

"Hi Class. I am Sr. Raulo. I'm sorry but our Lesson and the other Subjects will not be any kind of Subjects." He said.

What? Not history? Or English? Or Science? What??? Fml.

"This Year will be a year of finding a true friend and surviving the obstacles you and your friends might have. You are not in an ordinary school. Remember that." He said.

"So I'll call your name and pick a person who you want to be your Yearly Friend."

"Wait sir." I said confusingly. "What is a yearly friend? Is that a friend who you will work with all year long?" I asked him and all of them looked at me.

"Yes Mr. Emeralds. That's what a yearly friend. But. You will all be separated in groups of 9. Now I'll call your name and choose. But before all of that. I want you to all put these watches." He said.
"Para saan po ito?" I asked.
"Basta. You'll know when it's the right time." He said while smiling.
"Mr. Emeralds. Tayo. Pumili ka sa mga ito." He said to me.
Obviously pipiliin ko si Alexa.

"Sr. Si Ms. Ravenheart po." I said smirking. And all of them said. "Yieeeeeeeeeeee" and I saw her blushing.

"Then. Pick 7 more. Since you're all 27, there will be 3 groups with 9 members." He said.

"Uhmmm" kinalabit ko si Alexa Para sya naman ang Pumili. "Sina Ash, Katherine, Joshua, Juliette, Silver, Reena, at si Matthew po." She said.

Wow. She's not a transferee. And I'm a transferee. And I don't know them. Halaaaaaa....

Kinalabit ako nung isang lalaki. Sabi nya " So you like Alex?" Sabi ko "What? Huh? Hindi ah."
"Oh chill ka lang. Wag BM.. I'm Joshua nga pala. Joshua De Guzman. And you?" He said confidently.
"Ah. I'm Lucas." I said.
"Si Alexa walang boyfriend. Baka gusto mo mag apply? Hahahaha! Joke lang. Bagay kayo." He said.
"Hala? Sige na. Ano ba ang gagawin pag may grupo na?" I asked him.
"Ganito kasi yan. May singing at dancing practices dito. At hindi nga pala ito ordinaryong school. Basta. Lahat tayo kailangan mag perform."
"Ah. Okay. Now I know."
Then may ilaw na lumabas dun sa relo. And it's so bright.

Sinabayan ako ni Joshua at Alexa mag break.
"Sino nga pala ung ibang pipili ni Alex?" I asked Joshua.
"Ah. Si Ash at si Katherine ay mag best friend. Kasama nila si Alexa. Ako naman at Sina Silver at Matthew ay mag trio din. Si Reena at si Juliette naman ay mag best friend."
"Ahhh...So hindi kayo lahat mag tropa?"
"Kind of. Pero pag performance na. All in one kami." He said joyfully.

Sa library ako nag punta. Hindi muna ako sumabay sa kanila. I need silence y' know? Haha!
"Uhm. Saan kaya dito ung mga magic books?" I asked myself looking like an idiot. Then may babae na nagbigay saakin ng libro about spells.
"Ito oh. About spells." She said with a smile. "I'm Juliette De Guzman. You can call me Juls."
"The name's Lucas." I said acting like a cool guy.
"So.. you like wizardry and witchcraft?"
"Yes I do. Haha!" I said. "Ikaw? Ano mga interests mo?" I asked her.
"Nothing much really. I kinda like random things. Haha!" She said smiling. "Wait I have to go. See ya later!"
"See ya!" I said. She's so nice.
Then umilaw na naman ung relo ko. Bakit kaya umiilaw ito? Hay nako.

While walking down the hallway. I saw Alexa and run to her.
"Alexaaaa!!" I shouted.
"Uy bakit?"
"Wala lang. I wonder lang kung saan ka nakatira."
"Sa GoldenGates village."
"Ahh.. kami sa Celadon Ville." I said.
"Malapit na uwian. Wanna hang out with the gang?" She asked. I can't say no because she's so cute. I can't resist her.
"Uhmm Okay! Wait. Where is the next? Sabi ni Sr. Raulo wala daw ibang subject?" I asked her confusingly.
"Ay oo. Dun pa din tayo. Pero ibang prof naman. Ang alam ko Music ang sunod eh. Tara na."
"Tara buti nalang music. I love music!" I said.

"Okay class. We will discuss about music today. Not just the ordinary music. Ay. May yearly friends na ba kayo?"

"Opo ma'am." The class said.
"Okay. Go to your group and plan a song that you will sing."
Pumunta ako kila Joshua Para mag discuss.
"Guys ito nga pala si Lucas." Joshua said.
"Hi Lukeeeee!" Ash and Katherine said. Bakit sila natili?
"Yo Lucas! Matt here." Sabi ni Matthew. Mukhang mayabang ah?
"Hi Lucas." Silver said.
"Yo wizardddd!" I turned around and saw Juliette with Reena.
"Hi Luke." Sabi ni Reena.
"So since kilala nyo na lahat si Luke. Let's all talk about the song." Alexa said. Looks like she's the leader here.
"Gusto nyo 1D?" She said.
"Ano ba Yan!" All of them said.
"Hahaha! Bigay nalang kayo ng kanta." I said.
"Uhmmmmm Pillowtalk?" Sabi ni Reena.
"We agree." Sabi ni Ash, Katherine at Alexa.
"Sige yun na lang." Silver said.

"Now. Sino maglelead?" Sabi ni Joshua.
"I think Lucas can lead." Alexa said making me blush.
"Wait guys. Kayo na ba?" Sabi nilang lahat.
"Huh? Hindi ah!" I and Alex shouted.
"Ok chill lang?" Matthew said.

Then nag practice kami. Pero Gusto ko mag drums. Huhuhu. Si Joshua at Juliette ang nag drums. Si Ash, Alexa Matthew at Katherine ang kasama ko maglead. Tapos si Silver at Reena ang nag guitar. Teamwork nga kami.
After ng performance namin ay nagpahinga muna kami.

Narinig ko si Alexa at Ash naguusap."Ang galing kumanta kanina ni Cas ano?"sabi ni Alexa. "Wait gusto mo ba sya? Hindi lang naman sya ung kumanta eh. Ay ikaw ah." Sabi ni Ash. "Hindi ah. Friends lang kami." Sabi ni Alexa. "Sus ganyan din yan. Sa friends nagsisimula."
"Hay nako maiwan ka na nga dyan."
Then I immediately run towards Josh. Haha masyado ba akong tricky?

"Uy guys kain tayo. Libre ko." Matthew said.
"Sigeeeee!" All of us said.
"Saan?" I said.
"Sa John's Pizza Place."
"Taraaaa" sabi nila Silver at Joshua.

"Uy salamat sa treat ah?" I said.
"Sarap grabe. Nabusog ako. Hahaha!"
Joshua said.
"Geh uwi na tayo." Sabi ni Juliette
Then I continued my way. At nagulat ako kasi sinusundan ni Joshua at Juliette. Bakit kaya?
"Uy saan ka nakatira Cas?" Sabi ni Joshua.
"Celadon Ville. Why?" I said.
"Dun din kami ehhh!" Juliette said joyfully.
"Wait. Anong lot nyo?"
"10. Lot 10 AshGray street." Sabi nilang dalawa.
"Lot 12 ako. AshGray street din." I said. "Wait. Magkapatid kayo?" I asked them.
"Yes po." Sabi ni Juliette. "Older ako sakanya ng 2 months." Sabi ni Joshua.
"Ahhh. Kaya pala magkamukha kayo. Now I know." I said.
"Sige mauna na kami. Punta kami sainyo ok?" Sabi nilang dalawa while running towards their apartment.
"Ok! See ya two later." I said while running too towards my apartment.

Omfg. This day has been great.

Habang nagawa ako ng report namin. Dumating naman Sina Joshua at Juliette.

"Lucaaaaaaassss!!!" Juliette shouted.
"Coming. Just wait."then I run towards the stairs and through the door.
"Hi Cas." Sabi ni Joshua.
"Pasok kayo. Ako lang magisa dito." I said smiling.
"Laro tayo! Uno!" Sabi ni Juliette at tinuro ang mga Uno cards ko.
"Sige." I said.
"Wait tawagan ko sila. Sleepover tayo." Sabi ni Joshua.
"Wait. May pasok bukas." Sabi ko.
"Ay oo nga pala." Joshua said while laughing.
"Game. This night will be fun. Dito kami matutulog ah?" Sabi ni Juliette.
"Sige. Basta gising kayo nang maaga. Para we will not be late tomorrow ok?" I said.

And the night ended happily.
