I bit my tongue to stop myself from laughing and grabbed my bag that contained my costume and Justin and I walked out the store.

“Go ahead, I know you wanna laugh.” Justin said. As soon as Justin said that, I busted out laughing.  “Ha-ha.” Justin faked laughed. “Now just get your ass in the car so we can go pick up our little sisters.”

I continued laughing even after I got in the car, and even when we arrived at the elementary school.

“Can you please stop laughing? That was so embarrassing.” Justin said.

“I’m sorry, but it was funny.” I laughed even harder. “I bet the guy was just as embarrassed Jay.” I smiled. Justin rolled his eyes.

“Were you serious when you told the guy, you—you wasn’t ready to be in another relationship?” Justin asked nervously.

“I mean kind of. I just want to find a guy who will accept me for me.” I said truthfully. Wait—what the hell am I saying? I found him! It’s Justin! But wait—does Justin even like me? Just because what we did last night and this morning—that doesn’t mean anything. Right?

“Oh.” Justin said—kind of sadly. I was about to ask him what was wrong when we saw Gracie and Jazzy running up to the car. Justin unlocked the doors, and both kids got in.

“Hey kiddos, what do you want for lunch?” Justin asked as soon as they put on their seatbelts.

“Can we go to Gattiland?” Jazzy asked.

“OH YES! PLEASE?” Gracie added in begging.

“Whatever you want.” Justin said and pulled off.

I really hope I didn’t hurt his feelings by saying I was still looking for the right guy.

We pulled up infront of Gattiland after an awkward 40 minute car ride.

“Here we are.” I said. We all got out of the car and walked into Gattiland. Justin paid for all of us and we went inside to find somewhere to sit.

“I wanna sit in the room where there is a tv!” Gracie said.

“Me too!” Jazzy added in.

“Okay, let’s go.” I said.

We walked in one of the rooms, and found a table where we could sit. Once we were all settled, we got our food and began eating.

“I’m gonna try and win a big teddy bear!” Gracie smiled.

“I wanna win a Barbie doll!” Jazzy said.

My phone started buzzing, and I saw Demi was calling me.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Hey Sel! Where are you?”

“I’m at Gattiland, with Justin, Gracie and Jazzy.” I smiled. Gracie and Jazzy were waving at me, and so was Justin. “Oh and Jazzy, Gracie and Justin all said hi.”

“Tell them I said hey!” Demi said. I waved at them back telling them that Demi said hi. “Anyways, have you asked Justin yet?” Demi asked.

I placed my palm over the phone. “I’ll be right back.” I said to Justin. I walked out of the room and into the women’s restroom, and to my luck, no one was in there.

“No I haven’t told him.” I said to Demi once I saw I was alone.

“When are you going to tell him Selena?”

“Wh—what if he doesn’t even like me Demi?”

“Girl, are you being serious right now? Justin is in love with you! He comforted you when you were drenched in rain! And do I have to remind you what went on between the two of you last night—and this morning?”
