Point of View - Aubrey

As I'm packing up my things for collage, I look around my room, looking at all the great memories I had. Such as the first time I sneaked out, the first time I sneaked a boy in my room, and sneaked in alcohol. The good old high school days. I become out of my daze when my little sister, Bianca knocks on my door.

"Aubrey?" Bianca, my five year old sister says in such an innocent voice.

I turn to see Bianca at my door, I go up to her and give her a big squeeze. I hear her start to sniffle.

"I don't want you to go!" Bianca cries out, squeezing me so hard I can hardly breath. "I don't want to be alone with her!"

Right away I knew she was talking about our step mother. I lived with my father, out in the suburbs, my mother decided to leave us when I was just about to turn eleven. She walked out on us, she never showed up again, no birthday, nor Christmas cards came.So my father remarried, to a women named Allison, our step mother.

Allison comes from a rough patch, her family wasn't the wealthiest, and back in school Allison got bullied a lot. She then became a usage in drugs, such as weed , and tobacco , and to this day, she still uses them.

My father is a very high business man in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My father fell in love with Allison, he supported her, and sent her to rehab many times, but while my father stays at work a lot, Allison still smokes, but my father doesn't know that.

"I love you Bianca, you are strong, do you remember what to do if it gets out of hand?" I ask her.

She looks at me and rubs the tear off her cheek, "Call grampa." she sobs. I look at her in the eye and squeeze her.

My father then knocks on my door, "Are you ready to go?" he asks.

I look down at Bianca, and smile and whisper, "I love you."

"I'm ready," I say without looking directly at my father, still looking at Bianca , I kiss her on her forehead, and grab my boxes to put in the car.

Point of View - Aaliyah

I finish packing up my boxes for collage, while all the sudden a ball hits me in the back of the head. I whip around , to see my four little brother standing there with looks that is worth a million words. I pick up the ball calmly, and through it to my youngest brother, Jacob.

I laugh, and so do the boys. Our laughter soon turns into sobs.

I give them all a big bear hug and whisper "Take care of dad." I say lightly.

Our mother passed away about seven months ago, she went to Penn State University as well, I fell like if I go I will feel with her. Father hasn't been taking it well, he's been more down then ever, but I've been putting on a fake smile, so much I don't even have to try anymore. Collin, the oldest, whose 12 has the biggest heart in the world, he takes care of Jacob so well. I helped the boys with homework, and cooked, because my father couldnt be there for them.

We wipe our tears away, and start to playfully wrestle. I didn't even notice my father taken my boxes out to the car until he calls us all down to the living room. We all sit on the couch, in silence for awhile, until father said something.

"Your mother is happy that your going to collage." He says with a tear coming down his cheek. I scootch over to him and hug him closely.

"You are coming every weekend right sis?" Jacob says quietly.

I smile at him and wipe the tear that ran down my cheek, "Of course, maybe not every weekend but I'll try. " I smile at him.

"Why?" He asks so incently.

I smile at him, "because I'm a collage student." I laugh.

He smiles.

"Guys come on give me a hug!" I cry hold out my arms for the boys, and my father.

Point of View - Jackie

As I put my boxes in my car, my dad comes up to me, with whiskey in his hand.

"You are a failure to this family, don't come back again." He says very loudly.

I look at him, "At my pleasure." I say rolling my eyes giving him a glare.

My father has always been an alcoholic since I was 2. I wasnt as pretty as I was "supposed" to be. My mother, on the other hand loved me, and cared for me. Until when she went off to Alaska with her boyfriend. 10 years ago, when I was 8. I haven't got an email or anything from her.

So I lived with my father, when I was 12 my father dyed my hair blond, because it was brown, and it reminded him of my mother. He made me get a nose job, and I even had to wear contacts.

We made money from me modeling and acting. I was so desperate of getting out of it that I even ran away for a month. Until he found me at the women's shelter.

And now I'm leaving, for good this time.

I grab the whiskey and take a long sip of it, and through it on the ground.

I look up to see my father giving me the death glare.

I laughed and got in my car. I rolled down the window and gave him the finger.

I'm free.
