9. Playball

Bri's P.O.V

Our shifts have ended, at least for now until clean up time tonight. Now we're heading to the employee baseball game. Taylor, Gabi and I were on a golf cart with Taylor driving. Taylor stopped when we seen Ryan. Gabi gave me a 'sorry' look and I just smiled at her. Her face turned into confused.

Okay, I didn't tell them that me and Ryan are dating again yet. I don't know why. I just haven't. Anyway. I was sitting on the back of the golf cart by myself and Gabi and Taylor were sitting in the front.

"Hey, Ryan. No rehearsals?" Gabi asked him

"Nah, uh, my sisters working up something new." He answered.

I gave him a smile when he looked at me and he smiled back.

"So you coming to the baseball game?" Gabi asked

"I'm not staff, I wasn't invited." He said then stated walking away. Taylor followed him by driving beside him.

"Hey, everyone's invited." I told him "come on, hop in."

Gabi gave me a smirk and wiggled her eyebrows, when he sat down next to me. Cause it was the only seat on the golf cart.

"Oh, yeah." I said while Taylor started driving "I forgot to tell you two that me and Ryan are back together."

Gabi squealed and I laughed at that.

"No more of you crying in your room at night, thank goodness." Ryan grabbed my hand when Gabi said that.

I grabbed Ryan's hand when we got off the gold cart.

"What, did Fulton send you out here to spy on us?" Chad asked him

"Nah. My sister did." Ryan replied "she thinks you guys are going to upstage her talent show."

"Oh, no worries. We were gonna do the show, but then Troy bailed on us. So, whatever." Zeke said

I let go of Ryan's hand and me and Gabi got in between everyone.

"What do you mean 'whatever'?" Gabi asked him

"It's our summer, remember?" I input

"I thought we decided doing the show would be fun." Gabi told everyone

"Yeah,'I think so." Martha said

"Me, too." Taylor said

"Who are we kidding?" Chad asked

"I don't think so." Zeke said

"We don't know how to put together a show." Jason told us

"No." I told everyone. I then grabbed Ryan and put my hand on his shoulder "but he does. If we have a real director putting it together. If could be great!" I turned towards Ryan "have the employees ever won a star dazzle award?" I asked him.

"Hey, now." Ryan started while chuckling

"I know what you can do, Ryan, so why not do it for us?" I asked him with a smile

"All right. Look, if you wanna play ball, grab a mitt." Chad told him "but I don't dance."

"You don't think dancing takes some game?" Ryan asked

"You got game?" Chad asked Ryan

"A little." Ryan replied

I then scooted over beside Gabi while the guy threw the bat up in the air then Chad caught it, then Ryan put his hand above chads and it kept going like that until Ryan's hand landed on top of it.
