Jermaine felt better after talking with his mom. Even though she did make him promise to bring Lisa over one day, even just as a friend. She was such a dork about it.

At school the next morning, Jermaine got there early so he could get Elle's letter into her locker before meeting up with Leo. Just as he was walking down the steps, he saw Lisa running up them. They both tried to move out of each other's way, but it ended up in both of them still just running into each other... Well, Lisa still running into him.

They collided and as soon as Jermaine realized they were about to fall down the stairs, he grabbed onto Lisa, one arm going around her middle and the other cradling her head to him. Twisting his body a bit, Jermaine took the force of their fall, his back ending up on the ground and Lisa on top of him with her hands beneath his back to at least take a little bit of the fall.

Jermaine was in a daze as Lisa's warmth seeped through his clothing and burned his arms.  He was sure she wasn't actually that warm, but everything seemed intensified with her around. He was snapped out of his wistful thinking as Lisa popped up from the ground and held a hand out to him. Jermaine grabbed onto her hand and pulled himself up, smiling a boyish smile at her, "How are you? Your hands I mean." She looked at her hands after they were mentioned, "They're fine. Sorry about that - running into you. I really have been trying to not do that anymore. The fall too, thanks for that. It's nice to see chivalry hasn't died completely yet."

By now the two of them were walking slowly to Leo's locker. Jermaine was watching Lisa taking in every detail of her being. Lisa was looking ahead, a smile on her face and her sore hands in the back pockets of her pants. Burgundy with white flowers on them, and she was wearing a black v-neck with black Converse on. She looked like a model and she was just wearing a tee shirt and skinny jeans. "Thanks, my mom will be glad to hear that... So, you wanna tell me where we're going after school today?"

Lisa smirked at Jermaine, "Of course! The address is 789 Adelaide Drive." Jermaine chuckled a little, "Hahaha. Really, I won't tell anyone else." The two of them stopped by Leo's locker, "Alright, come close." Lisa said, looking around like she had a big secret. When Jermaine got close, Lisa whispered to him, "It's a secret."

She pulled away laughing, making Jermaine laugh. Before he could say anything else, his musketeers made their way down the hall. "Would you tell one of them?" Lisa shook her head as she rocked back and forth on her heels. Jermaine cocked an eyebrow, "Not even Leo?" Lisa smirked, "Especially not Leo. He tells you everything."

AN: First things first, all credit for my amazing new cover goes to quirkykylie her profile is amazing, you should check her out. This chapter was motivated by her amazing cover, though I don't believe dedications can be done via phone.
Sorry for such a short chapter, I keep dozing off, but I really wanted to give my readers a chapter today. When you're reading, do you picture Jermaine as anyone in particular? What about Lisa? Leo? Gina?
