It's been a week since I left the pack. I haven't had any luck in finding anyone elsewhere. Checking each and every town I came across, they haven't left any trace, and I realized something. I have no idea what anyone else would look like. If they had any physical facial changes like, tracking them down would be nearly impossible. I thought about contacting Zhaniah to see if she may have some ideas, but brushed the idea off. She was busy with her pack, and I didn't wanna bother her. Besides, this was my job, not hers.

The beginning of the following week, I managed to get a room in a hotel, ten towns over. I was moving relatively quick on my own, not having to worry too much about money or food. The only times I actually stopped was to wash my clothes, bathe, and ask around. Other than that, I never stopped for anything else. Right now, I was sitting in my hotel room, staring at the ceiling. Night had fell, but the city was still rowdy outside. The night didn't stop the people, and it definitely wasn't gonna stop me. I sat up, slipped on my shoes, and moved out the room, locking the door behind me.

The streetlights held a comforting warmth. People were lined up, partying on the street like they were going to die tomorrow. I enjoyed the atmosphere, at least they the happy kind of drunk people and not the angry, destructive kind. Then again, there was an overwhelming smell, something sickening, that wouldn't go away.

I stuck my hands in my pockets, passing by the passed out crowd in front of the bar. I glanced over, shrugging, ignoring the men racing inside. That is until I heard a female voice that made me stop in my tracks. Loud, like fear, and small. "Was that.. No way," I said, mainly in disbelief. I ran back to the bar, pushing past the crowd and looking inside. My eyes scanned over the tables and people, until my they locked on group in the corner. A bunch of big, burly guys, bald or shaggy hair, with unshaven faces. Next to the biggest of the men, there was a relatively small girl with black glasses and ombre hair. The color shade was a bit difficult to tell in the light. Her hair was curled to the side, and she wore a small blue dress. Honestly, she did look very pretty and I could see why she was getting so much attention.

It was difficult to tell if it was her exactly, so I stepped through the door, moving towards the group. Before I took four steps, a meaty, large hand clamped down on my shoulder, stopping me in place. "You got an I.D?" I turned to the large, burly man. He was well built, and his face was freshly shaven, along with his bald head. His knuckles also had a tattoo that read: "Bone Breaker". Charming fellow.

"No, I don't. I'm not looking for a drink though, I'm here to get someone."

"No I.D, no entry." He said.

I tugged my shoulder free, stepping forward and ignoring his warning. He grabbed me again, more firmly this time. "Are you hard of hearing?"

"No, apparently you are though. Let go of me," I said sharply. He shook his head, reaching with his free arm to toss me out. Instead, I gripped his wrist, pulled him forward and slammed my elbow into his abs like he was made of jelly, and let him hit the wooden floor unconscious and drooling. I walked forward without another word, but I could feel the looks everyone was giving me. I didn't care much about that, and it was in my favor that the group in the corner didn't take any notice.

I moved around them, trying to get a better look at the girl's face. When I spotted the familiar structure, I had no doubt in my mind that it was Cynthia. What she was doing with these guys, I wasn't sure. I sat at the table behind them, closing my eyes and listening in closely.

"You've been with all of us for weeks, babe. Come on. It's just me and my boys. What are you so afraid of?" The biggest and deepest voiced one said. I could smell the booze on his breath from here, and it made me wanna gag. I turned around, peaking my eyes over my shoulder. There was eight men surrounding her. He leaned close, whispering something in her ear, and making her shiver. I could feel a twitch inside me, and decided to be a little mischievous for my little sister.
