I know a person who in your eyes looks perfect
Seems Honest, and trust worthy
But what if your vision was blurry?
I know that person wears a mask
Keeps strings, tells lies
Will you beleive, or just rub your eyes?
What if I told you that your apart of puppet show?
you would never know...
What if the person was your best friend,
Working behind the scenes as they blend?
I see your strings attached
I know that you are blind
Puppet master tricks your mind
I've seen what has been done
I was once part of the show
But now I'm glad I know
Once you see
Your strings will be free
Though they seem still stuck on you
You'll know what to do
I know a person who has betrayed
And that's why I've strayed.
