Yeah, I know I said I would update a lot and all that over the break. That didn't really happen. What did happen was, I realised that I have a bunch of school stuff to work on that I still haven't finished. Anyway, let's just get on with this :3

Reader's P.O.V

You were huddled in the corner of your school library, pretending to be reading a book about physics, when in reality you were crying your eyes out.

"I can't believe that stupid asshole. He actually did it." You muttered while thinking about the events that had lead to this point.

You were supposed to be meeting your boyfriend by the front of the school so the two of you could walk home together. After 10 minutes of you waiting, you decided to look around for him, he might have gotten caught up with talking to a teacher or something. Unfortunately for you, he wasn't talking with a teacher.

He was making out with your best friend. That's not even the worst part, the worst part was that he made eye contact with you and didn't even stop kissing her.

That was what lead you to the secluded corner of the library, crying behind a book.

"Um, I hate to bother you, but the library will be closing soon..." A soft voice from above you said. You looked up and saw Kuroko looking down at you with a curious look on his face.

When he registered your tear stained cheeks and red puffy eyes, the look changed from curious to pissed off then to soft and comforting.

He knelt down beside you and put his hand on your shoulder, making your eyes meet his. "What's wrong, (First Name)?" You shrugged and looked back at the book, pretending to read. "Physics makes me sad."

Kuroko let out a sigh, "It was (Boyfriend's Name), wasn't it?" You froze slightly before meeting his gaze again.

Instead of the normal placid look in his eyes was replaced with a mixture of anger and sadness, even though his face wasn't showing it.

"(First Name), was it (Boyfriend's Name)?" You just nodded slightly. Kuroko wrapped his arms around you and held you for a couple of seconds before letting go and standing up quickly.

"I will be right back, stay here." Without any other explanation, he rushed out of the library.

You just sat there, trying to process everything that had just happened. You were cheated on, went to the library to wallow in sadness, Kuroko found you, he found out that it was your boyfriend well ex boyfriend now, and then Kuroko ran off.

It's kind of weird, you had always been friends with Kuroko and had always come to him for everything, especially anything that (Boyfriend's Name) had done to make you cry, and yet you had never been able to go to anyone else for that kind of comfort.

Even when it was something as simple as being bored after doing a load of homework, you had always gone to Kuroko instead of your boyfriend or the girl you had considered to be your 'best friend'.

"I like Kuroko" You whispered and felt a smile spread over your face. Those words coming from your mouth just seemed so right, unlike saying that you loved your boyfriend. The only reason why you said that was because he did.

You pulled yourself up off of the floor, and walked out of the small alcove. You checked that no one was around before chanting "I like Kuroko" over and over again, the smile on your face getting bigger and bigger each time you said it.

Being so wrapped up in your thoughts, you didn't notice the door to the library opening or the "phantom" coming in.

You felt a light tap on your shoulder, which caused you to jump slightly before turning to see Kuroko with a slight smile on his face.

"I'm glad you do, (First Name), I'm not so sure I can do with this unrequited love thing much longer."

Well, that took forever to write. I have no idea why but I honestly did try to write one over the break but I honestly had no inspiration to write this book.

I'm working on a two new books one of which will be a haikyuu one and the other will be a free! Iwatobi swim club one.

Not sure when those will be released, I'll try and get a few one shots done for both of them before posting them however.

One last thing before I go, thank you all so much for 30 thousand reads and over 1 thousand votes. It means so much to me that you all took the time to read and vote for this book along with all of the super supportive comments.

I'll stop blathering on now,

Bye :)
