Continuing where I left!

—SHIN HYE—

The day went on with a lot of whispering and staring. At times, as I walked into a classroom, a sudden silence greeted me.

Gym was our second last period and so we all were changing our uniforms. I didn't maintain an eye contact with anyone or even utter a word. I was gaining unnecessary attention since after lunch and it started to bother me. This was just my first day at this place but it seemed like everyone already knew me. I really felt like holding out a signboard that said "PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE."

My thoughts were interrupted when Cha Eun Sang came and held my hands. We were the only ones left.

"Hey, are you alright?" she asked with a lot of concern in her eyes.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I smiled back. Before our conversation moved forward, we heard  someone cry. We went back a row of lockers, following the noises and saw Lee Bo Na curled up in a corner. Me and Eun Sang sat down close to her.

"Go away...." Bo Na said as she looked away.

-CHA EUN SANG-

Bo Na was trembling when we saw her.

"Go away...." she turned away from Shin Hye and me.

That moment, Shin Hye did the best she could to handle the situation. And I respect her even more after that.

"Bo Na? You actually think that shredding tears will make Chan Young realize that he is going to be losing such a gem in his life? I know this is not something petty but I even know Rachel talked you into this. Please go and sort it out with Chan Young before someone has their hands all over him!" Shin Hye said.

"Why aren't you leaving me alone..... you sure as hell know that hadn't it been for the both of you there would have been less drama...." Bo Na said in a tone and voice which was so unlike her.

Shin Hye held her hands softly and pressed them hard. "But you are Lee Bo Na. You won't give up on your relationship. You know for a fact that the both of you are forever. And things like this keep happening. So don't lose hope and go get him back. And Kang Ye Sol? Go tell her you mean no harm to her. You are her best friend and we all know you love her more than anything. Rachel can drown in lava and no one would blink an eye" she said, winking at the last one. Bo Na gained back her enthusiasm and smiled warmly at the both of us and we returned it.

Shin Hye's act of love surely did gain Bo Na as a new friend. It was clear that she was one of the best, most mature person around us all. Despite what her day went like, she made sure no one was feeling down as she thought the series of unfortunate events began because of her. Little did she know that there is so much more to come if this was just what she faced on her first day.
