We're going on a adventure

You were at the Venice Board Walk with your girls, after a night of dinner and Karoke you all decided to just stroll around and put the night to use as it was still young 

"Haha the best part is when the guy had to kick us out for being so loud" my drunk friend slurred her words as she wrapped her arms around me, putting all her weight on me. 

My legs got weak for a second but I regained the balance and carried her to the nearest bench. 

I looked at her as she fell to her side, laying on the bench, cradling her knees to her chest. 

I sat on the bench, lifting her head and placing it on my own lap. 

I look up at my two other friends as they stand there looking down shaking their head and laughing. 

There was a loud thud that startled me, I looked across the boarder walk to see a group of teenage guys all shouting. 

"Whoa Shawn what happened dude?!?" they kept saying over and over 

"I-I don't know" He says rubbing the back of his head starring right at you 

Why was he starring at me? did I look funny tonight?was my hair a mess? 

I broke the eye contact and so did he. 

"Who were you starring at?" One of my friends called out noticing, she looked at me then back at the group of boys hollering. 

"You know that one hot guy is checking you out right?" She said winking 

Me? Checking me out? There is no way, someone like that, could be looking at me in that way. 

I shook my head, denying it, it couldn't be. 

She rolled her eyes "Yes Y/N it's possible for a guy to check you out, you're gorgeous and you look great tonight! put it to use girlfriend!" she said forcing me to stand up, messing with my hair

"What are you doing??" I asking slapping her arms away from my small head 

"You'll see" she says pushing my me  into midway of the walkway, pushing  so hard I fall to my bare knees. 

I look back at her angry "Are you serious?!??" I say groaning 

I hear footsteps coming my way, I was starring at boots and looked up to see the same guy that I made awkward eye contact with. 

"Whoa are you okay???" he asks kneeling down, grabbing my cold hands, he helped me back up 

"Uh yes, thank you" I say starring at his face now, studying it. 

He bit his lip, starring at me and my outfit 

"You look great tonight" He said fixing strands of hair that were sticking up 

I complimented him again. 

We stood there in silence until one of his friends broke it, calling out his name. 

"Shawn! we're leaving" they screamed 

"I-I'll catch up with you guys later" He said, grabbing my pale hand 

I stared at him confused 

"I-I uh, noticed you earlier, I couldn't stop starring" he awkwardly chuckled "That's why I uh fell" he says shaking his head 

I were in awe, starring at him as he confessed. 

"I was wondering if you wanted to get out of here?" he says, looking nervous 

"I would love to" I  say starring at your friend, as she gave you a thumbs up and a wink. 

We both enter the cold ice cream parlor, I had no sleeves. 

I rubbed my arms hoping it would work, it didn't. 

"Oh are you cold??" he asks, taking off his leather jacket and wrapping it around.

"Thank you Shawn" I say as I inhale his strong cologne. 

"By the way I didn't catch your name" he says 

"Y/N, Or just call me Y/N/N" I say sweetly looking up at him 

"Okay, Y/N, we're going on an adventure tonight" He says grabbing the ice cream we both ordered and grabbing my hand and taking off, out of the shop. 

We were running across the empty boarder walk and running after nothing. 

We reached the beach and just sat on the sand eating our Ice Cream that was now melting. 

"That was something" I say panting, taking a bite of the mint ice cream

He laughed as he looked at the ocean, causing me to also watch it.

I spent the night screaming at the top of my lungs with Shawn yelling stupid things, and running around making noise as if you were little kids. 

I looked at your phone screen, 1:00 

He took my iPhone as asked permission to unlock it.

I nodded my head as he opened the camera app taking loads of selfies with you in the back.

He stopped to look at them as he stopped at a particular one.

"This one" he said showing me the screen. 

We were both laughing in the picture, as I stare at him. 

I smiled down, hearting the picture. 

He handed me my phone back and smiled at me.

"Let's get you home Y/N" he says wrapping his arm around me.

I sitting in front of my apartment complex with Shawn beside me in the car

"I had a great time, thank you" I say taking my seat belt off

"I'll like to see you again Y/N" he says, cupping my face and kissing me softly 

"As do I" I say smiling

I got out of the car and entered my home.

My friend was on the couch and she looked up from her computer screen 

"How was it?" she says wiggling her eyebrows 

"Oh you won't believe it" I say jumping onto her spilling all the details
