Hello everyone, how have you been? I've been flailing through thousands of essays and the like but otherwise managing. I know I haven't updated recently and that is still something that I need to work on but we do have a 5 day break coming up for easter so I am hoping that I will be able to finish my assignments and then be able to write a lot more updates for this book which started off as a time killer when I couldn't sleep at 2am and is now something I am actually proud of :3

Anywho, let's get on with it.

Reader's P.O.V

You threw your fists against your fogged up bedroom window and let out a small groan of annoyance. That stupid weather forecast said that the rain would have cleared up by now, yet as it was now 4:45pm and the rain hadn't let up in the slightest, you could tell that he was wrong.

"I should learn to never trust the weather forecast." You muttered to yourself, you had wanted to go to the park and get some different photos for a project you were working on, but as the rain seems to want to stay. You would have to think of something else to do.

"(First Name)!" You heard your younger brother call out. "What?" He looked at you strangely as you still had your fists and forehead pressed against your window. "Could you take me to the park?" Now it was your turn to look at him strangely, "why would you want to go out when it's cold and raining?" He shrugged "because it's fun and you said earlier that you wanted to get more photos for your project thing." You sighed and pointed angrily at your window, "I did want to get photos but whoever controls the weather decided that today would not be the day for it." Your brother pouted slightly, "pleeeeeeaaaassssseeeee (First Name) photos in the rain look really good so we should go."

"Fine." He let out a small cheer before rushing out of your room to get ready.

The two of you walked down the street, water filling your shoes every so often. "I hate the rain." Your brother gasped, "how can you hate the rain, (First Name)? It's a beautiful thing that happens especially so we can live. If you say you hate the rain then your basically saying that you hate living." You couldn't think of a decent enough response so you simply muttered, "I hate you." Which just made your brother laugh.

Once you reached the park, your brother took off to go play on some ungodly metal contraption while you looked around for something to take photos of.

"How is it that everything here just looks gross in the rain?" You had spent 20 minutes looking around for something, anything, to give you enough inspiration to do your project on.

"Maybe I should just head home." Normally you would have just grabbed your brother and made him go home, but since he took so much time to persuade you to come to the park in the first place, you knew that he would throw a tantrum and then you would just have to take him back.

You were about to go and just watch your brother play until he had had enough and was willing to go home. That was until you heard the sound of a ball being bounced on the court that was next to the park.

Since you had nothing better to do, you walked over to where the sound was coming from and were surprised to see Kagami Taiga, one of the most popular boys in your whole school, standing in the rain shooting free throws. You knew that he was super passionate about basketball and all, but you didn't know that he would play even in the pouring rain.

As you were watching Kagami play, you got an idea, you pulled out your camera and started to take photos of him at the different stages of the shot and from different angles. For any passer by it probably looked a little strange, but you were inspired and no side glances from strangers were going to put you off.

You were looking through the photos and mentally organising them into the ones you would use for the project and the ones that you would keep just to use in your portfolio.

"Why were you taking photos of me?" You froze slightly and looked up from your camera, an obvious blush on your face. "I-I w-wasn't" even though you obviously were as one of the photos you had taken was still up on the small screen. Without saying a word, he whisked the camera out of your hands and started to look through the photos.

"These are really good." Your blush deepened at his comment, "oh um thanks." He looked between you and the camera a couple of times before speaking again, "if you want, you can take more photos of me. I mean the ones you already took are really good but if you want to take more I don't mind."

You couldn't think of any words to say so you just nodded and he continued to play.
