It Started With a Hello (Laurance X Reader)

Laurance's house

We soon finished and all walked over to Laurance and Cadenza's house.I was surprised to see they lived across the street from me.

"Welcome to our humble abode",Laurance said as he opened the door.

We all entered,the smell of flowers filling the air.

"Dad,we're home!",Cadenza called out.
"Hey guys!",a guy who I presumed to be their father said as he came down the stairs.
"Hi Hayden",Dante waved.
"Dante,my man",they fist-bumped.
"Garroth,how are you?",he said as he ruffled Garroth's blonde hair.
"I'm fine Hayden,my dad says hi",he said as he took Hayden's hand off his head.
"Aaron,you're as quiet as ever,you make being mysterious look easy",Hayden smiled.
"....thanks",Aaron gave a small smile.
"Wait a second,you're new.Laurance is this cutie your girlfriend? Nice one kid.So,what's your name,is Laurance treating you right?",Hayden turned to me with a smile plastered on his face.
"I-it's not like that!",Laurance and I said at the same time,blushing uncontrollably.
"Oh that's adorable,you guys are just too cute! Let me get my camera",Hayden said as he began to walk away.
"They aren't together Hayden,this cutie is all mine",Travis said as he put his arm around me.
"Yeah right Travis.Hayden,this is Y/n,she's new to our school.Her and Laurance have an assigned project to do,they're just friends",Dante chuckled.

Hayden stopped and looked at me.

"Sorry about that kid,well this is awkward.Well um,I'm Hayden,Cadenza and Laurance's dad.If you need anything,feel free to ask,again I'm sorry for the mix up",Hayden laughed.

I was still blushing,but nodded and gave a small smile.

"W-well be going upstairs to work now...",Laurance said,still blushing.

He led us up the stairs and into a giant room.The room had a giant tv with a fireplace underneath,along with varies sofas.

"You guys can get comfortable,I'm gonna get the poster paper for Y/n",Laurance said as he began to walk away.

Everyone sat in a specific seat.The boys sat on the left sofa and the girls sat on the right.I headed towards the middle,but felt a tug on my wrist.

"Sit next to me,baby",Travis winked.
"Don't be silly,Y/n is obviously sitting by us",Cadenza giggled as she grabbed my other wrist.
"Can't I just sit in the middle like I wanted?",I asked.
"NO!",they said at the same time.
"Let Y/n sit where she wants",Aaron intruded.
"Exactly,she wants to sit by a hunk like me",Travis said,tugging on my wrist.
"You're joking,right? She wants to sit by her new besties",Cadenza said,tugging on my other wrist.
"Will you guys stop? You're gonna break her",Laurance said,as he entered the room again.

Cadenza and Travis looked at him and paused,the quickly let go of me.

"Y/n,sit down where you want",Laurance sighed as he jumped over the middle sofa to sit down.

I sat down beside him and put my things down.

"Do you have the rough draft of the dress done?",Laurance asked.
"Oh yeah,here you go",I said as I took my sketchbook out my bag and handed it to him.
"Thanks",he said as he flipped through the pages.He stopped when he saw the dress and smiled."This is nice,I really like it."

He opened his bag and took out his sketchbook.He flipped through the pages and stopped at a sketch with armor.

"Here you go",he handed it to me and smiled.I took it and looked.It was simple armor with a green feather on the helm."It's really nice,the colors we chose compliment each other",I smiled.

"You can do the sketch,I'll do the lineart.Then you can color,and I'll do the shading",Laurance said as he handed me the poster paper.
"Alright,thank you",I said as I took the paper.

I began drawing,hearing the occasional chatter from the others.

"You're really talented",Dante said as he put his head on top on my shoulder.
"You shouldn't sneak up on a person like that",I said gently.Dante laughed.
"You know,your at Laurance's house right now.You two can continue your thing",Dante whispered in my ear.
"D-Dante!",I turned around to look at him.
"Calm down Y/n,I was just joking.You're too good for someone like Laurance",Dante laughed.

I heard a thud.

"Don't even you idiot",Laurance said.
"Wow,your just like Katelyn! Does this mean your hitting on Dante?",Travis asked excitedly.

THUD!

"I'd never go for someone like Dante,it would be Garroth if anything,and before you say it,no I am not hitting on you",Laurance sighed.
"Why'd you put me in this?!?",Garroth yelled.
"I ship it...",Katelyn and Nicole said.

These guys have no chill.They always have to make fun of each other.It's kind of adorable how they all get along so well,when their personalities are so different.I think I'll fit in perfectly.
