"I'm really sorry I'm late"

Suddenly I froze. Kahit nakatalikod ako alam ko kung kaninong boses yun.

Humarap ako para kumpirmahin kung tama ang inaakala ko. I plastered a smile on my face and look to where he was. His eyes widened when he saw me.

I was uncomfortable. Sige nga hindi kaya kayo magkita ng bestfriend slash ex boyfriend mo for five long years. Tapos sa isang blind date pa. Isa pa hindi rin naging maganda ang paghihiwalay namin. How awkward can you get?

We just had small talks just like the old times, at infairness nawala na sa balat niya ang pagiging supladito. After all he's still my best friend at hindi ko maiwasan na mamiss siya.

We soon decided to call it a night. Nag-insist pa nga siya na ihahatid daw niya ko sa bahay. sabi ko naman may kotse ako kaya hinatid na lang niya ko sa parking lot.
